Chapter 32: Dull love

~6 months later~

Today is the day I'm getting my Anthony back. I'm extremely excited to see his face.

I've been dreading not being able to hold him.

As for Pearl Jam, we are completely done with the album Vitalogy.

Me and the ex members from Nirvana have never been closer.

We've been going out a lot to malls, and other stuff. Dave is really enjoying time in his new band.

I know they'll be even bigger than Nirvana was. And for Krist, he's taking a break from the music scene.

I don't blame him either.

In a ten minute time frame , it's literally been me standing in my closet trying to find an appealing outfit for when I pick up Tony.

I move the clothes hangers around for a while until I settle on a choice.

I guess I'll be going punk.

I get dressed and take one more look in the mirror.

"Perfect," I whisper creepily.

As I finish up with my makeup, the doorbell rings.

I head downstairs to the door and open .

My eyes trail up to brown, familiar ones.

Anthony.

His hair has grown shoulder length , but remained the same color.

Looks like the airport is a no show.

I jump on him, my lips colliding onto his.

We kiss for 3 more seconds then take a breath to talk.

" I missed you alot too, Rosie," his lips curling up in a smile.

I ruffle his hair with my hands , " I know but I really missed you," I add wiggling my eyebrows.

His face is full of confusion, then realizes what I meant, "Oh, ha."

I forgot that we were still outside so we went inside the house and sat on the couch.

"Uh, so I heard Pearl Jam's album is finally out. I'm so proud of you!" He says enthusiastically tucking my hair behind my ear.

I blush furiously

"Thanks and the kittens missed you alot especially Sir Psycho."

His eyes lit up when I said the kittens name, "Aw, really? Where are they anyways?"

I sigh, " They're at a pet salon, I needed a break from them."

He pouts like a child, which is always amusing to watch.

"Oh well. I wanna take you somewhere, that's if you're up for it."

" Oh uh yeah, sure. I'm already dressed," I answer abruptly.

Anthony gets up and walks to our room to put his things away.

I'm so glad he's back. I mean I had people to hang out with, but I will always be amused by him the most.

He comes back downstairs and asks I'm I'm ready to go.

I nod at him.

Time skip brought to you by a very angsty teen.

We arrive at the mystery place Anthony was talking about.

"We're here, baby," I hear him say

He stops the car.

The doors unlock and I open the car door to get out.

I look around , just to see that we are at my favorite amusement park, Playland.

My eyes have tears in them. Anthony walks next to me and notices.

"Are you okay, Rose?" he asks in a concerning tone .

I take in a deep breath.

" I am it's just I haven't been here since I was 7."

"Oh. Well, you're here now. And most importantly, with me."

He caresses my cheek with his finger and gives me a long passionate kiss.

I pull away, smiling like an idiot,
" Let's go in."

We hold hands and walk towards the entrance.

I can see the Ferris Wheel from a far distance. It actually makes me feel nauseous just looking at it.

Yeah, that's right. I have a fear of heights, which Anthony doesn't know about.

But I hope he doesn't want to go on it. Anyways...

We are currently getting our tickets to actually get on the rides.

Finally after 5 mins we get them and discuss what ride will be our first.

Anthony keeps telling me he wants to go on the kiddy rides but I want to go to the haunted house.

Oh god, he's so childish I swear.

This is gonna be a long day.
