Pancake.

Laura's POV

Great. now I had gotten grounded by my mom. this sucks. I groaned into my pillow.. I looked out my window and my eyes went back on my songbook. I grabbed my pencil jotting down some notes for my new song. the door opened as my mom entered. she walked in with a slight smile.

Ellen: your dad and I are going outside, we'll be back soon, don't get out of the house or else I'll know

she warned me before exiting the room. I groaned and went back to writing. I had fallen asleep but then i woke up by the sound of pebbles.. on my window... I sat up and got closer to my window and saw a certain blonde. he got on his knees.

Ross: Laura, thou art Laura can I come in its freezing, thou art Laura.

I rolled my eyes and let him in, he climbed in and smirked.

Ross: couldn't get enough of this?

I rolled my eyes.

Laura: I have a heart, and its cold outside but tell me, what are you doing here? you can't resist me?

it was my turn to smirk.

Ross: stop pissing me off Marano, I came to get pancakes, or to make pancakes.

I groaned.

Laura: why my house??!

Ross: I got grounded and I sneaked out for pancakes. whatever, its not like mom would notice.

I rolled my eyes. yes, yes she would notice genius! He walked into my kitchen getting all the ingredients out and making simple pancake batter. I watched him and sighed, shaking my head.

Laura: you forgot the best part!

he gave me a confused look as I went to the cabinets and got out.. CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!! I don't know why my mom didn't hide this.. I went overboard and poured all the chocolate chips in mixing it like crazy. Ross stopped me.

Ross: woah woah woah woah! you ruined my pancakes!

he pouted. I groaned.

Laura: I simply made them taste better.

he scowled and I laughed. I went back into the living room turning the TV on and watching my cartoons. WOOT WOOT! Tom and jerry was on and this, was the life. Ross walked in with pancakes in his hand.

Ross: what the heck are you watching?!

Laura: it called watch in cartoons! Geesh,

He popped and a pancake in his mouth, and looked at me.

Ross: so, whatcha wanna do today?

I gave him a very confused look.

Laura: I'm not gonna do anything! I'm grounded and you are too. I'm sure your mom would notice if a person's not home.

he shrugged.

Ross: not like its the first time I, got in trouble.

Laura: but I, did.

Ross: whatever.

I fell asleep watching cartoons and Nuzzled up to something beside me. I didn't care. I felt comfortable so I fell asleep.
