It was the most wonderful
night I have ever had.
The feeling of the cool wind
touching my skin, as it blew
our hair to our faces.
The peaceful sight of the
night sky glittering with stars.
The soothing silence
filling the air.
The heart-pounding moment
when we leaned onto the balcony's railing,
...Side by side,
...Our arms touching.
We didn't talk that much
but it didn't mean we were awkward.
We decided to just savor the moment.
In the corner of my eye,
I saw you smiling.
Your smile outshined the brightest star in the sky.
You are a joyful person.
I like you for it.
