The following morning,
you were already outside
my room.
...Waiting for me.
...Dressed quite nicely.
I was surprised.
...Especially since it was
early in the morning.
I asked why you were
outside.
You told me you were
picking me up.
My roommates squealed as
soon as you said that.
My insides squealed too.
My mind was thinking rapidly.
But then, you said that
you were just dared by
one of your friends.
My smile almost fell.
Expectations can kill you.
I thought there was
something more.
"...and I also wanted to
do it because I want
to make sure you slept
well."
