Myles POV:
Tonight I'm going out with my friends because it's Melissa's birthday and she turning 19 so we are all going to a club, I've been busy with photo shoots for a while now and it just feels nice to be able to hang out with my friends again, it's been long since I hang out with them. I was getting ready when I got a text from Melissa.

Melissa🙌🏼:
Hey M! It is okay if I bring my cousin with me to the party?

Myles:
It's your party you can bring who ever you want okay? 😂

Devon, Jessy and I were the ones who helped   Melissa with her party plan, she's really a perfectionist so everyone have a task to do and mine was the guests so that's why she ask me if she could bring her cousin. She actually mentioned her cousin was coming to town but that was all she said, she never said if it was a dude or a girl, if it was our age or anything, but if she wants to bring her cousins she can bring him or her.

It was time to leave so I took my car keys, my phone, my wallet and walked out of my room, I went downstairs and looked at myself in the mirror reassuring myself that I looked great. I got into the car and start to drive to the place, I'm actually a little belated so I won't be surprised if Melissa's already there, I hope not because she would kill me, she wants all the attention tonight and she deserves it. I got there and rushed inside.

Myles: She's here?
Jessy: For your good luck she isn't.
Devon: But she'll be here any second now.
Myles: How do you know?
Devon: I got her Uber I know where she is.
Jessy: Creep.
Devon: Is my fault she couldn't get her self an Uber?
Jessy: No, but it sounded creepy.
Devon:Whatever.

It's impressive how much this two fight, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up together, you know what they say "opposites attract" right? 😏

Devon: She's here, when she comes in we'll sing happy birthday okay?  - we all nod-

Melissa came in and everyone start to sing and it's pretty funny to see Jessy and Devon pushing each other to hug Melissa first while singing, they are never going to stop competing between them. Finally Jessy won and get to hug Melissa first leaving Devon rolling his eyes with crossed arms.

Myles: You're such a kid.
Devon: It wasn't fair.
Myles: It was, just go and hug Mel okay?
Devon: Okay.- he said whining  a bit- Happy birthday M!
Melissa: Thanks Dev.
Myles: My turn! -I push Devon to hug her- Happy birthday!
Melissa: Thanks.

Jessy and Devon leave arguing about the food or something like that.

Myles: So you bring your cousin?
Melissa: Oh yeah but she is outside, she was paying the Uber and ugh -she sighed- , she don't know in which room is.
Myles: I go get her? Is her right?
Melissa: Yes, her name is Briar.
Myles: Okay I'll go find her.

I went out of the room to go find Briar by shouting her name in the hallway. You see, this club has three parts, one is the public club where you can go party like a normal person with a bar and that stuff, and then there's two rooms which are mainly for parties like birthdays, anniversaries and that kinda things so maybe Melissa's cousin don't know which room is.

Myles:BRIAR? BRIAR!
...: I'm Briar- I turn to see a beautiful green eyes-
Myles: Umh... oh I'm Melissa's friend she ask me to come find you and lead you to the party.
Briar: Oh okay, thanks,  I wasn't sure which one was.
Myles: It's okay I'm here now.
Briar: Yeah I guess.
Myles: Shall we? -I extended my hand for her to take-
Briar: We shall -she giggle a bit before taking my hand, oh god her touch was so soft-

We got into the party and she pull me a bit for me not to leave.

Myles: You okay?
Briar: I just don't know anyone, can you stay with me?
Myles: Yeah sure, I'll introduce you to my friends.
Briar: Okay.

We walk up to a bunch of friends that were talking and I introduce her to everyone, after a while I told her I was going for a drink.

Briar: I'll go with you.
Myles: I can bring you something if you want.
Briar: No, I want to go.
Myles: Okay let's go.  -I put my hand on her back and we walk towards the bar- You are enjoying the party?
Briar: Yeah your friends are really nice.
Myles: Yes.
Briar: Even tho that girl Jessy and that boy Devon always argue for some reason.
Myles: I know right? -they handed us our drinks and we went to sit- it can be a little annoying.
Briar: But it's funny.
Myles: Yeah that too. -there was a silent moment but it wasn't uncomfortable-
Briar: So, Myles, tell me a bit about yourself.
Myles: I'm Myles Erlick, I'm 20, I'm currently single, I'm a dancer and model, I like to travel and I've been living here my whole life.
Briar: Interesting.
Myles: What about you?
Briar: Well, I'm Briar Anne Nolet, I'm 19 but turning 20 in two months, I used to live in San Francisco and I'm moving here, I'm also a dancer and gymnast, I like to cook and I like to travel too.
Myles: Cool, you should consider modelling sometime.
Briar: I don't know, it's your thing. -she said laughing a bit-
Myles: But you are beautiful.
Briar: Thanks but I'm not a model.
Myles: You look like one.
Briar: Thank you, you're so sweet, and you are really handsome, I get why you're a model.
Myles: Thanks...Umh you wanna dance? I mean since you're a dancer you should have some good moves right?
Briar: I guess, you tell me.

We started dancing and it felt good to have fun with her, she is really funny, and gorgeous, and a really good dancer, she had sense of humor and she's just perfect. I really like her. I haven't dated someone since the first year of high school and I've never felt a connection with someone this fast. Briar and I spend the whole night dancing together and we were at the door when the party ended.

Briar: I had fun, I hope to repeat it one day.
Myles: Me too, it was amazing meeting you Briar.
Briar: It was great to meet you too Mylo.
Myles: Can I have your number to text you or something?
Briar: Yeah sure -we exchanged our numbers and we hug- thanks for the great time M.
Myles: Thanks to you too, I haven't got this fun in a long time.
Briar: I have to go but Ill see you around.
Myles: Totally.

I give her a kiss on the cheek  and we ended up looking in each other's eyes and suddenly she give me a peck on the lips, really quick move but still counts, and it felt awesome.

Briar: Bye Myles.
Myles: Bye Bri.
