Noah's POV:

It started when my family moved into that stupid neighbourhood, we were just arriving and that's when I saw her, sitting on the edge of her front yard smiling at our car, what is wrong with her? We got off the car and she instantly stand up and run towards us, ugh, I still remember that day, we were only 10, okay back to the story... she came to me and presented herself.

...: I'm Richelle, I live across the street.
Noah: Noah. - I said with a disgusted look, don't judge I was 10 the last thing I cared about was girls-
Richelle: I can help.- She said trying to take the box in my hands, uhm rude?-
Noah: No. - I said pulling the box making our hands touch, I felt something but I was too scared that I just took the box and got into that new house-

Richelle's POV:

That was the best feeling in the world, no lie, I felt something when our hands touched almost 7 years ago. At first I thought it was just a kids thing but about 2 years ago I realized it was not, I really like him. But it was the wrong time to realize that, he was dating her, Summer, the most popular girl in school, I always knew she wasn't smart but I guess they dated because they were considerate the most attractive kids in our class. Their relationship didn't last long, Summer one day got told Noah was only dating her because of a bet, wonder where she heard that from... (notice the sarcasm). At that time he started to notice me a little more, he sometimes said hi to me and at least look at me. I know, I sound pathetic but at some point it made me feel better.

Back to reality, they started flirting again, I can't blame them, all they care about is popularity, that's something I've noticed recently, my dad told me a few weeks ago that there are two kinds of people in the world the special ones that are full of feelings and intelligence and other that are just plain, just materialists and people that feel superior, I can sense that with a lot of people but it was harder for me to realize that Noah was a plain one, he just doesn't care about the other people feelings, especially mines, he knows, he has always knew that I like him and yet he ignores me at all costs. He's not what I expected him to be, he's nothing like that.

Noah's POV:

I have always thought that Richelle is a little weird, who dances at their front yard? Well she does, it's kind of weird watching her sometimes, that's why I try not to, at least until I saw my grandpa with her, he was smiling at her, he laughed and try to dance, you know... it hurt me, he never does anything with me. She has to have it all? I mean... she's the top grade on our class, she won the science fair even when I participated with my awesome volcano, all the teachers love her, and now my own grandpa?
Later that day I went to talk with my grandpa, I wanna knew what was happening.

Noah: Heeey -I said kind of unsure about what I was expecting- what, what were you doing there earlier?
Peter: She just reminded me of your grandma, I was really happy watching your grandma dance and Richelle just has that spark I can see it.
Noah: She's not special, she's weird- I said letting out a small laugh-
Peter: Your grandma wasn't weird she had true feelings, unlike you and your father.

Okay yeah, my dad didn't like Richelle's family either, he thinks they're thief's I don't really know why, someting related with the great grandparents... anyway... what he said really did hurt me, I mean he hasn't done anything with me like play football or baseball and he already spended more time with Richelle than he did with me in this whole year he has spent living at our house.

Peter: Look she's on the newspaper. -who even reads the newspaper? We're on 2016-
Noah: Yeah she had the best grade on school.
Peter: Well that's great, here take a read, maybe it would help you motivate.
Noah: Whatever.
