"Happy birthday dear Camila, happy birthday to you." Sinu, Alejandro, Sophie and I all clapped as we watched her blow out the candles on her birthday cake.
I smiled as I watched my girlfriend make her wish before blowing out the candles, how could she always be so cute. I walked over to Camila kneeling down behind her and wrapping my arms around her, hugging her from behind "Happy birthday, baby." I whispered in her ear, placing a tender kiss just beneath it.
I felt her lean back into me, relaxing herself and although I couldn't see it, I knew she was smiling.
"What did you wish for?" Sophie asked and Camila smiled.
"I wished for love and happiness upon our family." Sinu and Alejandro 'awwed' at her wish
"I also wished that one day I will marry you, Y/N" My eyes widened as my head snapped at Camila.
"R-Really, Mila? You want to marry me?" I stuttered, fiddling with the small box in my pocket.
"Of course I do baby, I love you." Camila placed a gentle kiss against my cheek making my cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"I wish you two get married as well." Sophie smiled at both of us. "You guys are cute together." I laughed at Sophie, ruffling her hair a little.
"She's not lying, you two are adorable I also wish for you guys to get married." Sinu said, Alejandro nodding in agreement.
Suddenly I started to feel a little light headed, my palms getting sweaty. I was already planning on proposing to Camila tonight. Her family approves of us and I know Camila wants to marry me. I guess I have nothing to lose.
I took Camila's hand, helping her up. She looked at me questionably, confused as to why I was helping her up.
"I can make your wish come true." I said nervously as I grabbed the small box that sat in my pocket and got down on one knee.
"Camila, baby, you mean the world to me. Before I met you I never believed in love. I never thought love could get me so high but, you taught me how to open up to someone, trust them completely and that was one of the best feelings ever. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to wake up next to you every morning, and fall asleep next to you every night. I want all of that to become a reality, you make me the happiest girl alive. I am so in love with you Camila, I am so thankful that you are mine so baby, would you do the honour of being mine forever? Camila, will you marry me?" I did not have a speech ready, I let the words fall from my heart. I popped the question waiting for a response.
I saw tears fall down her cheeks, she wore the biggest smile I have ever seen in my life. "Yes yes yes Y/N, a thousand times yes!!!" I grinned huge, getting up and sliding the diamond ring onto her finger.
Camila instantly wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me into a kiss full of love. She kissed me slowly, taking her time. I felt a tear drop down my cheek, Camila quickly wiping it with her thumb, continuing to stroke my cheek.
Sinu, Alejandro and Sophie were all cheering for us and congratulating us. "It's about time you get married" I heard Alejandro say. I laughed turning back to look at Camila.
I stared into her eyes. God I am in love with this women
I can't believe she's going to be my wife.
