HIS FOOTSTEPS ECHOED through the cemented halls as he walked. A metal briefcase clutched in his hand.
His plan was finally falling into place. He sent his agents to a hidden SHIELD base and ordered them to make it seem as if they were looking for something. And they did just that. Fury decided to send out just the person he wanted. But the only problem was that she wouldn't fall down without putting one hell of a fight. He knew what the girl was capable of there was only one person he knows that can rival her strength.
He presses his hand onto the scanning pad. The light underneath his hand turned green and the words 'access granted' shone brightly as the large metal doors slid open. Men in white coats surrounded a man forcefully strapped onto a chair. His dark hair draped over his face as he lets the scientist tinker with his arm. His eyes glanced up when he hears a specific daunting pair of footsteps.
"How is he?" Pierce asked one of the scientist.
"He's doing well. His vitals are normal" the scientist replied. The soldier watched his superior walk around him as if he was a caged animal, only looked away when Pierce met his gaze. Pierce grabbed a nearby chair and rolled it beside the soldier. He took a seat and dropped the suitcase beside him.
"Do you know why I'm here?" He asked the soldier. Bucky dared to look up and met the eyes of his superior.
"A new assignment" he spoke, his voice rough and course from not being used in a while. Pierce nodded his head
"But this assignment will be much more different than the other assignments you were given in the past," Bucky remained silent and let Pierce continue. He brought the suitcase onto his lap and retrieved a file. Bucky looked at the manila folder that had the words classified written boldly on them.
"This is your target" Pierce said as he handed Bucky a picture of her. It showed a woman with silver hair and violet eyes. She was bloody as well as dirty in the picture. That didn't stop her beauty from coming through.
