We ended up going to the forest and heading up the hiking trail, about a kilometer in we veered off the track we then headed deeper into the forest . I was amazed with how much detail I was seeing the forest . I could see every ant crawling across a log ten meters away. My hearing had been going crazy since we had entered the forest, I heard everything so well it was as if my ears where allowing me to paint a picture of those things in my mind. Liz stopped a few paces ahead of me. "Listen" she said. I stopped and tuned my ears to listen carfully, soon I began to hear a soft , rhythmic thudding noise. "What is that?" I asked her. "It's an animal" she replied with a smile. "I've never hear an animal noise like that" I said, astonishment clearly visible on my face . "No you idiot, it's just the heart your hearing" said Liz giving me a small snicker.

Then I smelt it. The sickly sweet smell of BLOOD, before I knew it my legs had begun moving as if they had a mind of their own. Soon I was on a direct course towards my prey. I saw it, it was a deer grazing in an open meadow that was covered in bright green grass. As I neared my prey it turned to see my approach but I was too fast, before it had time to react and run away I was upon it. I grabbed it's torso and sank my now extended canines into it's neck. I did not have time to make a noise as I crushed it's windpipe with my strong jaws and drank it's blood as it now flowed freely into my mouth. I sat there caressing it's neck drinking until its body was completely drained of blood. When I was done I felt invigorated, stronger but I was shaking all over. I was disgusted with what I had just done, yet I knew there was no way back and that this was now the way I had to live. "Well you looked like you enjoyed yourself" said Liz. "Shut up!! It's all your fault" I shouted back. "I'll never be able to live normally again" I said the tears I had been holding back were now running down my face. "Stop being a baby and grow a pair" said Liz with a smirk touching the corners of her mouth. At that I lunged. I was fast but she was faster, she dodged with ease and I ended up landing smack bang into a tree but I did not get hurt instead the tree ended up falling over with a loud crash. When I turned around I found Liz rolling around on the floor laughing, this infuriated me even more, I was about to lunge at her again when I thought better of it. "That was funny, but if you do that to me again I'll tear your legs of and feed them to you while we wait for them to grow back" said Liz standing up and dusting herself off. "What do you mean grow back?" I asked. "well i would not expect you to know this but we vampires have bodies that regenerate ten times better and faster than the bodies of humans so much so that we are able to grow back limbs or even reattach severed limbs." replied Liz. After that really insightful explanation I stopped complaining and we headed over to my house. It is a good thing that my parents are not home otherwise I don't think I would be able to hold myself back from my blood-lust.

Liz was scratching through my fridge as I sat on a stool in my kitchen thinking of all the things that have happened to me in the past two days. "What exactly are you looking for" I asked looking up from my pondering. "Food of course, you idiot, what else?" said Liz in a sarcastic tone. "So vampires can eat human food and don't only have to drink blood?" I asked. "Yup but it does not really help with our hunger."said Liz Happily "Hh..mm" I said deep in thought. "We only eat Human food to fit in with the rest of the human" Said Liz Smiling at me before taking a bite of the chicken mayo sandwich that she had just made.

After a few hours of thinking to myself I looked  at the time and to my shock it was already 6:30 AM only then did I feel the exhaustion tugging on the edges of my body. The Sun was rising and the Birds were singing, thank god it was Saturday so I would be able to sleep for the rest of the day. I was sitting on the black couch in the middle of the living room, I looked down and I was surprised to find Elizabeth sleeping on my lap. The rising sun was shining on her dark brown hair making it shine a hazel color. Her pale skin was glistening slightly making her seem angelic in a dark sort of way. She opened her eyes to look up at me and smiled before jumping up quickly. Even though I had vampire powers i still could not see her move. "Well my little fledgling I have to leave you here but I'll see you tonight" she said blowing me a kiss before she was out the front door. I heard her footsteps for a second or two before they were out of earshot and all was silent except for the birds chirping in the trees a few hundred meters from my house. I still could not believe what happened to me.

I decided to take a shower and wash off the deer blood from my body. I changed into something comfortable and got into bed. I lay there for a few minutes thinking of my future before I fell into  a deep sleep.
