This is going to be so cute. I had a dream about this a couple times so I decided to write about it. So just enjoy!!!
This is fluff. Gdoi.
Veronica's POV:
Walking through the big city is scary. There are many people who will do bad things at any moments. But another thing is there are people looking to do good. The thing is you can never really predict anyone or their actions. You sometimes just have to assume, "Oh, they seem nice," or, "I don't think I trust them." Sometimes it's the other way around. Like...Someone seems all sunshine outside. On the inside they can be full of darkness. Or maybe on the outside it seems as all darkness. On the inside they could just be a big, fluffy, teddy bear. I choose not to assume anything. It can turn out offensive. Some people understand but some don't. So I don't assume.
The red and purple standing in a crowd of colors is hard to notice. But they're there. Me and Jaiden keep walking. Hands intertwined. She's trying to catch my attention by jumping and skipping and just being energetic Jaiden. She finally gets me when she let's go of my hand and jumps onto my back as if she wanted a piggyback ride. "Huff. You got me. Now, what is it you want, princess?" She smiled knowing she had won. "I want to know when we'll be there. Also why we didn't just take the car. My feet are tired..." I rolled my eyes and gave in. She wrapped herself around me. And we walked. "The reason we didn't ride in the car is because it's nice out." It is. It's sunny, with a slight breeze just to cool you off. You wouldn't think it's only the end of spring if you came here. But it is. It's May 20th. This weather is a gift considering we live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
We get to a large beige building. Jaiden hops off my back and reaches for my hand again. I accept. We are about to get in when some teenager sees us. She smirks a very evil smirk, hatred in her eyes. Darkness.
Jaiden's POV:
Veronica is staring again. I look to see what it is she's glaring at. A blonde teenager, nicely built. She was wearing headphones, but now they're hanging around her neck. She looks like she's a murderer and we're her next victim. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. The lesbian couples. Can't make babies yourself? Where are your boyfriends? They can help you make your own babies! Ha!" I look at Veronica. Her eyes are watery, and her face is turning a coral color.
"Bet you don't even have one, b****!" I yell at the blondie. Her face turns from evil to surprise. "If you wanna go have sex, what're you doing here? Hmm? Well?" She gets angry and tries to punch me. In the face. I try to move to the side to dodge it. Her fist lands on my shoulder. I stand tall. I stand my ground. Veronica looks at me, surprised and worried. I charge at the blondie and she runs. From me. I hear Veronica laugh in the distance. I walk back to her and we trot into the building.
A lady in a light yellow sweater and black skinny jeans greets us. "Welcome to the orphanage. We're so happy for you to be here! What are you looking for?" She says, smiling. "A child." I state. She giggles at this, but she seems annoyed. Veronica rolls her eyes, (For the second time today!) And says, "An infant. Maybe 1 or 2 years old. Thank you." The yellow lady grins and leads us to a kind of nursery looking place. There are other rooms on the sides of the room we're in. They have windows, so you can see what is inside. I walk over to the left side and see small sleeping babies. I remember something about babies. Girls have pink hats. Boys have blue hats. The hats go, pink, blue, pink, blue, pink, purple, blue, pin-
...
Purple?
