:o chapter 17 already! That has to be a record right?? I'm going to make this chapter as long as possible for you guys : )
RECAP:
We arrived in the school gates, with people looking and pointing.
Ryder could see that I was bother by this and grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly. We jumped out the car as soon as Delilah had found a parking and we walked straight to the lockers, together.
It wasn't as bad as the other day, I mean, yeah people were still looking at us and whispering, but this time they weren't coming up to us and asking us a million annoying questions. Once the bell finally decided to go, we all went to our first classes, which weren't together.
Chapter 17:
Coming back to school after all that happened has turned out to be harder then what I thought it would be, you know, I thought maybe I could come back and things would return back to normal for me. But things were far from normal, I couldn't focus in class because I had missed out and I was far behind the rest of my class, and the fact that everyone was staring and talking about me behind my back wasn't helping. They obviously know what I had been through because of my picture been put up all over the news. What made things even worse was that some of the people that were talking and pointing and whispering were people that I considered friends before everything happened, now I couldn't only trust two people. Ryder and Delilah.
I was snapped from my thoughts by having a piece of paper thrown at my head, I turned around to see who threw it but no one was looking my way, everyone was focusing on what the teacher was saying. I looked down at the piece of paper and noticed it had some writing on it; I leant over and snatched it up of the floor before trying to open it as quietly as possible. In familiar writing the note read.
Sienna, watch yourself.
Love.....
I turned around and searched the room with my eyes for a sign of someone who threw it, I knew that writing. It was the same writing that was on that note that fell out of my locker the other day, the one that I had tried so hard to forget about.
I screwed up the piece of paper and threw it in my book bag, grabbing my books and shoving them in at the same time as the bell rang.
For the rest of the day I could not focus, my mind was on those notes and nothing more. Second period was finally over, which meant lunch with Ryder and Delilah, hopefully that would take my mind off of things.
I arrived in the cafeteria, my eyes scanning the room for either one of them, I didn't really care which, I just needed to be with someone that I could feel safe around. My eyes swept the room and there was no sign of either of them, just as I was about to turn around I got picked up in a big bear hug. One guess who that was, Id know those strong arms anywhere.
"Hey" Ryder smiled
"Hey, I was just looking for you." I said while squeezing him tightly.
"I know I know, you couldn't wait to see me, and class was horrible without me wasn't it?" he winked.
"Oh yeah totally, totally unbearable." I teased, and that seemed to give him a bit of an ego boost.
He grinned while taking my hand and leading me towards the exit.
"Hey, where are we going?! I'm hungry, and where's Delilah??" I asked, completely confused.
"We, my dear are going to go eat in style. And Delilah, well she's having fun with some new dude."
"Huh? New? But you're the new dude?"
"Not anymore, there's a newer dude now."
"Uh huh okay, lets go eat in style then I guess."
About 15 minutes later Ryder drove into the car park of McDonalds, is this what he calls eating in style? Hmm...
"We're here." He grinned
"Style hey?"
"Yeah. What isn't stylish about McDonalds? If you don't think eating at McDonalds instead of our gross school cafeteria is style, then woman, I don't know what I'm going to do with you." He teased
I couldn't help myself; I laughed obnoxiously loud and received a few looks from some passers by.
When we got in Ryder went up and ordered, his face when I told him I wanted the biggest meal they have was priceless.
"Your kidding me right?" he asked, in shock.
"No, why would I be kidding you?" I asked
"Um, well how do you eat so much and stay you know."
"Stay what Ryder?" I giggled
"So skinny and hot," He blushed, which was absolutely adorable.
"Well its called exercise buddy, you should try it sometime."
"Hey! I do exercise, check out these muscles!"
I roared into a fit of laughter as he stood up and started flexing his muscles, not caring who was looking.
He looked like a complete dork. My dork.
Once the laughter had died down, I had a constant smile spread across my face.
We finished our meals and were on our way back to school, well, what I thought was back to school, when Ryder drove right past it and to an unknown apartment building.
"Um Ryder, last time I checked, school was back there."
"Ha-ha, oh your funny, no I wanted to show you something."
I didn't know what to say so I just shrugged my shoulders and followed Ryder into the building.
We caught the elevator and as soon as the doors closed and we were alone, he unexpectedly grabbed me and kissed me until we heard the doors ding.
"Ahem" Said a little old lady, waiting to step into the elevator, obviously disapproving our little pda..
We walked out of the elevator trying our hardest to laugh but horribly failing.
He led me up to a room and took our a key, unlocking it. He led my into the room and turned on the lights.
Wow, this place was nice!
"Um, where are we?" I asked, majorly confused.
"This is my place." He said casually
"YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PLACE?!" I screamed, super excited, but then my thoughts stopped me. "Wait, if you have your own place then why don't you live here?" I asked, completely dumbfounded. I mean, there was nothing wrong with the place, it was amazing.
"Honestly? It's lonely." He frowned
"awwww babe." I grinned at his cuteness. "Well why don't we stay here tonight?" I grinned at my bright idea.
"Really? Your Mum would allow that?" he asked
"Hmm well no, but she would let me stay at Delilah's" I grinned and he grabbed my hand and led me to the couch.
WHAT YA THINK?? :D
Love you's!
