I Miss Him

Alex POV

I look down at my dress and play with the gold strings. "Lady Alex. Dinner is prepared." I turn around and nod at the servant. Loki meets me at my door and we walk down. I take my seat next to Thor and quietly eat my food. "Alex, are you alright dear?" I look at Frigga a nod "Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry, I've been thinking about my friends on Midgard." She nods "Ok, is there any reason?" Tears well in my eyes "Yes...My, uh, friend...Bucky was killed." I whisper. Frigga takes my hand "I'm sorry to hear that. Do you love him?" I nod at her words "Yes. I did and he loves me as well." I explain choking on tears. She nods solemnly "I'm terribly sorry. You may leave now, dear." I whisper a thank you and leave the room. Heading to the garden I sit on a bench and look out at the galaxies. Tears roll down my cheeks and a cool hand clamps my shoulder "Are you alright, Alex?" I shake my head feeling the tears pour "I miss him, Loki... H-He's gone and I'll never be able to tell him I l-love him." I stutter out, sobbing. Loki hugs me and I cry into his shoulder "Why does this stuff always happen? Love is like a flame. It slowly catches and bruns brightly befire somebody blows it out!...If I would have been awake...I would have..." I shout. Loki just squeezes me tighter and coos me. After I slowly calm down he lets me go, gripping my shoulders and looking me in the eyes "Don't blame yourself. You didn't cause this." I nod at his words and smile sadly. He grins and kisses my forehead. I look at the stars "I hope they didn't kill him slowly... In a painful way." I mumble. Loki taps my temple "Stop thinking like that." He says strictly. I nod and sigh. We both walk back inside and I go to my room. Opening a book and levitating above my bed, I relax for a bit. Soon darkness over comes me and I fall into a deep sleep.
