Chapter 1- The Fatal Accident. (the back story)

Exhaustedly, Luna opened her midnight eyes, to see her handsome, kind, and caring husband, Orion. She sweetly smiled at him. Orion slowly opened his bright golden eyes, returning Luna's smile.

They carefully slid out of their bed and went to check on MoonDust. The princess who was born a few weeks after Luna and Orion were married.

After walking down a long hallway, Orion gently opened a perfectly shined door and quietly entered the room with Luna. It was painted in a soft sky blue and the bedding was a soft eggshell white. In the corner of the room sat a large dresser and across the room sat a beautiful vanity. Luna pulled opened the cream curtains, basking MoonDust in a calming ray of sunlight.

"My precious MoonDust," Orion whispered to his daughter, "it's time to wake up." But to Luna's and Orion's surprise, their sweet daughter was already awake.

"Hello, my precious MoonDust." Orion smiled. "Whatever would cause you to wake up this early before your mother or I could wake you?"

Pulling her light pink dress over her head and letting her long black hair tumbled over her shoulders she replied. "No pacific reason daddy."

Orion held back a chuckle. "Do you mean specific, darling?"

MoonDust hung her small head in embarrassment.

"Come on, sweety." Orion smiled taking her fragile small hand into his own, leading her out of the bedroom.

Walking into a large dining room MoonDust released her father's long, slender hand. She dashed to her mother who was sitting at a long polished oak table and Orion followed behind.

"Hello, MoonDust." Luna cooed, kissing the young girl.

"Hi, mommy!" MoonDust grinned.

Then a slender maid came up and set the morning meal before the king, queen, and little princess. Soon after the three finished eating a huge explosion echoed throughout the palace.

Orion leaped out of his chair. "KATLYN!!" He cried to the maid. "GET THE QUEEN AND PRINCESS OUT OF HERE THIS INSTANT!!"

Katlyn nodded, and without another word, she slung Luna and MoonDust over her shoulder and ran out the now nonexistent doors at an inhuman speed.

Orion grabbed his gold and silver bow and arrows to fight the intruder.

MoonDust was scared and confused by what was going on. Tears began to pool in her small eyes. "Mommy..." She sniffled "w-where are we going?" The small child now had tears flowing down her face. Luna whipped her head away from her daughter with a pained expression.
