Chapter 3- The Game of Chess and a Broken Heart.

When every one sate done at the table. Cail started to ask Elizabeth. "Lady Elizabeth how is your dress designing company going." Ceil said in his bored voice while sipping his Earl Grey tea. Elizabeth replied. "I told you to call me Lizzy. Other than that it's going fine what about your toy company." Elizabeth said scolding him. Ceil replied. "It's going fine as well. How do you like my garden lady..." "Amethyst Stone." "Lady Amethyst who do you like my garden?" Amethyst replied. "It's absolutely gorgeous. I have seen meny gardens when I was a young girl but not as breath taking as yours lord phantomhive." Ceil blushed and smiled a small smile. He was very proud about his garden.

When Sebastian came back with a tray of tempting food. Sebastian walked up to his master and lade the tray done on the white label. "We have today is a lovely tray of meny foods from different countries like. India, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Dangi and Mongolia. And a tea that has Moonbust mixed in. A scientist name Chad Smith discovered it a year ago." When Sebastian was done telling everyone what the food was from and the tea. Amethyst's eyes widened in shock who a simple human fond Moonbust with out going to the moon it's self. Sebastian noticed her eyes widen. "Is something wrong milady? "No. I'm fine." Amethyst lied. She lied is because if eny of the people from the moon consume moon dust all there powers will be drained from them.

When Every one was finished. Ceil stood up and ask Amethyst. "Lady Amethyst have you ever played chess?" Amethyst replied. "Yes I have not meny times but I have indeed played chess before my lord." "Would you company me a game of chess?" Amethyst stood up and walked to Ceil and bowed on her knee and said. "Yes my lord." Ceil was wide-eyed at her choice of words. The only person who said that to him was Sebastian. "Aright, sebastian get the game ready."
When they got to were the game was set up. Ceil sate in a large maroon chair that looked like a thrown when he sat in the chair. Amethyst gracefully sat across from him in a similar chair.

Sebastian and Elizabeth pulled a chair near were the Earl and the young woman was sitting. Sebastian was cross legged watching Amethyst (not in a cheapy way). After a few pawns, and nights were kicked off the bored. Amethyst said with a smirk on her face. "My lord Check- Mate." Ceil was wide-eyed at how she beat him.

Ceil's POV.

I was about to say "Check- Mate." But lady Amethyst beat me. I was wide-eyed no one has ever beaten me. I have beaten full grown adults before. I still couldn't believe it. I noticed Sebastian was getting up.

I in a orderly manner I stood up as fast as I possible could to ensured lady Amethyst out. But the that dame demon got there before I could. I walked to lady Amethyst and said. "Would you accompany me around the garden milady? Amethyst was about to answer. When Elizabeth burst in to tears. I didn't pay much attention to Elizabeth this whole time I felt bad for ignoring her.

Elizabeth's POV.

I knew it. Ceil did like Amethyst not me. I felt hot tears flow down my small face and I ran as fast as my small feet possibly could I heard Ceil ran after me.

Sebastian's POV.

I looked over to Lady Elizabeth and noticed that she was in tears. Lady Elizabeth was already running through the hallway and I noticed that the young lord was running after her. I know that second my young master hade a little crush on lady Elizabeth's new butler I asked Lady Amethyst and extended my gloved hand out.

"Lady Amethyst would you honor me to take a stroll around the garden with me?" Amethyst just nodded and took my gloved hand. We walked by the sobbing Elizabeth and my master was trying his pest to calm her. And reassure her he loved her and only her. But I could tell he was lying to the sobbing Elizabeth.

Elizabeth looked over at Ceil, with warm tears flowing from her eyes.  Ceil looked back into her eyes, guilt filling him for falling for Amethyst.

"Do you love my butler...n-not me?" The girl sniffed.

The Earl hesitated.  He did feel bad for falling for Lady Amethyst.  He glared at his boots, giving a response  "I truly love you Elizabeth." He tried to reassure her, but the guilt lacing his voice made Elizabeth unsure of his answer.

She tried to take a smile for her love, but Ceil could tell it was a fake.
