The day was cool and gloomy, there was rain in the air. The Royal Tour of Cranton had just begun. Queen Sheena & her 5 year old daughter Princess Regan were sitting in their carriage. Regan was starring out the window watching the scenery blur past her. It was the first time she had been away from the castle & she wasn't sure how she felt about it. Everything was different & new, & she didn't know what to think of it. Queen Sheena looked down at her daughter. She was worried about having to bring her. These things didn't always turn out the way she planned them too. With mobs shouting their disagreement & even worse people who had been paid to have her dead. The only reason why she brought Regan was because the only person she had trusted had suddenly disappeared. The crazy thing was, that normally these Royal tours weren't that bad, it wasn't until the Elves had anointed her to bring peace to the ones ruled by fear, & justice to those who deserved it. Ever since Jareesh the lead Elf had done that, everything & when she said everything, absolutely everything went wrong. Anoint her he did, but that wasn't the only thing Jareesh had done. He had given her something, something no one was to know about, yet, somehow everyone found out not exactly what it was, or what power it held, but they knew something very special was handed over to her. Queen Sheena went back to that time in her memory. She was near Lake Sheran in the Forest of Edateen. The air was cool, & fog covered the area, it was one of those nights you thought you'd never experience. Jareesh had come out to meet her, Jareesh was one of the most beautiful people Queen Sheena had ever met. He was tall with long dark hair, a strong jaw , broad shoulders, & the brightest green eyes Queen Sheena had ever seen. When he spoke it was as if he was singing a song, it was hard not to be enthralled by whatever he was saying. It was late & Jareesh made sure all the Elves had been asleep. He walked up to Queen Sheena & said in his sing song voice,

"What I am about to anoint you with, may bring a disturbance to your kingdom, & possibly even your life. I am not doing this because I want to harm you, but if you want to keep your daughter & the fate of your kingdom safe I must do this." Queen Sheena nodded knowing that this was the right thing to do, she could feel it in her soul. The memory faded from her mind like the morning fog. They had arrived at their first stop & Queen Sheena could tell something was not right. Henry, their driver came to the back of the carriage & opened the door just a smidge, handed Queen Sheena a gun & whispered,

"I've got the strangest feeling at the moment, that something is not right, I'm going to go check out what the huge crowd in the square is about." Queen Sheena nodded fear filling the lines beside her eyes, she turned to her daughter & said,

"Darling, I've been meaning to give you something, I just haven't found the right time, but now I feel like it's right." Regan looked up at her mother all smiles, she loved presents. Queen Sheena pulled out a book from underneath her seat in the carriage & handed it to Regan. The book was of soft leather, it was of a burgundy red color, almost like blood. Regan looked at it slightly confused,

"Mama what's this for?" Queen Sheena was getting anxious that Henry wasn't back yet,

"Well my dear, as you grow older I want you to write down all your thoughts & feelings in this book, so that when you're much, much older you can see all the wonderful & terrible things that happened in your life & you'll never forget the lessons you've learned." Regan scrunched up her face,

"Okay, I'll do that." Queen Sheena smiled & said

"You promise?" Regan smiled & nodded,

"Yes, I will because it'll make you happy." Queen Sheena patted her daughter's head & replied,

"Good girl, I love you." Regan giggled,

"I love you too, Mum."

Henry had made his way to the front of the crowd. He couldn't tell what was going on, or who was speaking all he knew was that the crowd was not happy, & they were getting angrier by the second. He began to pay attention to things most humans wouldn't be able to realize, the way the person speaking was completely calm & yet the people were getting angrier & angrier by the second, also he began to realize the perimeter around the crowd was guarded by big men, with guns at their sides, concealed by big black coats. Henry knew that these people had a plan & that plan was to kill Queen Sheena, & he had been anointed to protect her & protect her he would. He found his way out of the crowd, began to slowly slip past the men & walk to the carriage, but without knowing one of the men was following him, & from behind shot him dead. Henry's blood ran blue in the streets, & the man knew he was not human but Protector Elf, which meant the Queen was not far. The man smirked, this was becoming to easy. He approached the carriage & knocked on the window. Queen Sheena was relieved that Henry had made his way back safely, she opened the door to the carriage & let out a scream. The man had picked her up & she was hanging in mid air. She turned to look towards Regan who was crying,

"Regan go, now! Run into the forest & never look back, there are people there who will help you. Just go!" The man sneered at her,

"Where is it?" Queen Sheena looked at him & laughed

"Wouldn't you like to know?" The man looked at her, shoved a knife between her ribs & slowly let her fall to the concrete. Regan had turned at the last second to see her mother on the ground with a puddle of blood surrounding her. She ran, ran until she collapsed on the forest floor thinking she would never wake up again. Then the guardian Elves of the forest found her & took her in, & began to nurse her back to health.
