The Fog

The fog spread through the town

Consuming everyone in sight

It lingers in the houses

Of the families that fight,

It fills up the school

Telling every child lies

It whispers the words

"Don't even try"

It rushes up to you

Trying to make you a victim

But as it got closer

It noticed something different

You had lived with the struggle

But you did not break

You were filled with life

Life, the fog could not take.

A/N: I wrote this a year ago and did a little editing on it. Tell me if you want to read the original it is a little different from this. I wrote this about depression and my friend who no matter what she is always strong and doesn't let the sadness take over.
