We are the kids that grew up with barbies and toy cars.
Our first phones were flip phones
And we didn't get them till middle school
We wore t-shirts from Aeropostale
They grew up with play stations and x-boxes
Their first phones ar.e iPhones
The girls wear crop tops
And the boys wear under armor
They are smoking, drinking, and having sex at age 12
When we were 12 we took health
And swore we would never have sex
But here we are in high school having sex and smoking and drinking
Then we criticize the younger generation
Saying we never did that when we were 12
But we are their examples!
They follow our footsteps and try to be like us.
If we smoke and drink and have sex
They will want to
We babble on about how 12 year olds shouldn't do these things
But we are not much older
We should not do these things
We are hypocrites!
We are no better than them
In fact we created them
And the generation before us created us
Their generation will change when we do
