Arielle's POV:
It was now a month and some change until my graduation and I couldn't be anymore excited. Senoritis was really kicking in and I felt like a lazy couch potato.
It was a Saturday, and extremely hot and I was bored, so I had called Jennifer and she offered to take me to the movies.
I was currently waiting outside the movie theater for her. I had my hair up into a messy bun, and had on a light pink tank top some short jean shorts and light pink vans to match.
Soon she arrived and we walked into the movie theater, and we were deciding which movie we wanted to see.
"I wanna see X-Men." I said looking at the movie poster. I looked over at her and she made a face.
"Really?, X-Men, out of all the movies you can choose?"
I pouted a little and asked "You don't like superhero movies?"
"Nope, they're for nerds." She said.
"Are you calling me a nerd?" I asked.
"Well, do you like superhero movies?" She asked.
I nodded my head and she said "Well I guess that makes you a nerd."
I frowned and she immediately leaned down and kissed me and said "Don't worry you're cute and you're my nerd."
"Whatever," I said chuckling "what movie do you wanna see?" I asked.
"How about that one?" she said pointing at a movie poster.
It was for the movie "Neighbors."
"Ew, you wanna see that movie?"
"It looks good, I mean, it has Zac Effron in it." She said, as if that was enough to make it a good movie.
"Yea I guess, he is pretty hot." I said.
She turned to me and gave me a look. "Fine, he isn't hot." I said and she smiled in victory.
"But I don't want to see that movie." I said to her.
"How about we see both?"
"So we're gonna buy tickets to both movies?" I asked her.
"No, we're gonna but tickets for one movie and sneak into the other." She said with a mischievous smirk on her face.
"Are you sure we won't get caught?" I asked her.
"Positive." she said and kissed me on my cheek.
"Sometimes I wonder if you're actually an adult, because you certainly don't act like one." I said. She just flashed me a smile as a response.
So we did what Jennifer said. We bought tickets for the X-Men movie and snuck into the Neighbors movie.
------------------------------------------------
The movie was finally over and we were headed to her car.
"So did you like it?" Jennifer asked.
"Yea, it was actually pretty good." I said getting inside the car.
"See, you shouldn't have doubted my tastes." She said and started driving.
"Do you wanna stay over?" She asked.
"Do you even have to ask?" I responded.
She smiled and we rode to her apartment in silence.
When I stepped out of the car I looked up at the building and I felt this weird feeling in my stomach, like I was getting sick. It felt like some sort of premonition.
"Are you okay Arielle?" Jennifer asked stopping next to me.
"Yeah." I said ignoring the feeling in my stomach.
As we got closer to Jennifer's apartment the feeling in my stomach grew.
We finally reached the door to Jennifer's apartment. She unlocked it and we both stepped inside and I got an eerie feeling.
We went to the living room and Jennifer stopped all of a sudden, causing me to run into her back.
"Why did you stop?" I asked.
I stepped to the side of her and I couldn't believe what I saw.
Mason, was standing the living room with a gun pointing at Jennifer's head.
"Hello Ella." He said when he saw me.
"Mason?"
He smiled and said "Surprise."
