"wow" was all chaeyoung could say when they reach the top of a certain cliff.

it's cold and the sunset is setting. "so i ended up being the only one who will drag you to a cliff" jungkook puffs. chaeyoung stares at the cliff in awe, her eyes almost tearing up. the scenery before her is beautiful. the skies are complimenting the way the sun is setting as the moon is almost touching the sky.

chaeyoung sits on the edge of the cliff and so does jungkook. they're legs dangling.

"why do you wanna go to a cliff?" jungkook looks at the girl, who stares at the moon. "well, i wanna scream out the words i never got to say in my real world." jungkook laughs, "why didn't you do it when we're on the vikings?"

chaeyoung shrugs, "people will hear me there but for now," she looks at him, placing her hands on top of his. "it's just you and me." jungkook looks at their hands before at her eyes, he blushes.

"w-why in a cliff?" jungkook asks this time, changing the topic.

"if i scream at this cliff maybe He can hear me." chaeyoung smiles bitterly, "cause i have been screaming my pain out in my head and yet i think He's not listening." chaeyoung places both of her hands on her sides. jungkook bites his lips, missing her warmth.

"i just wanna ask Him why." jungkook looks at the girl who is staring up at the sky, her tears brimming with tears. "i wanna ask Him why He gave me this curse. i want to ask Him, why me? why do i have that He chose me to see the people's future. to see their deaths." jungkook's eyes soften at her last word.

"did i commit a sin as a child that i'm paying for it right now? why me?" the tears in her eyes fall. one by one.

"it's a gift chae, nothing in this world has the powers that you have." chaeyoung adverts her gaze on his.

"at least you got to know what their future will be-"

"i can see deaths too. and that is the worst part of it."

jungkook pauses for a minute before answering,

"well that's because it's written on their future, aren't you proud that once you look at a certain kid's eyes and soon she will be a doctor or something that can change the world?"

chaeyoung's tears flow out of her eyes even more as she remembers when she accidentally looked into a kid's eyes and into her future.

she smiles knowing that the little girl will be a doctor.

"i-i'm proud."

he smiles, extending his hand on the outraging scenery. "then scream your worries in this world."

"but what if someone can hear me?" chaeyoung gulps. "no one," jungkook cups her face which makes the girl blush. "no one can hear you now cause it's just you and me, right?" he uncups her cheeks.

"no one?" she repeats. jungkook nods his head, "no one."

he lets out a small smile as chaeyoung stands up and takes a deep breath.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she screams

"I FUCKING HATE IT WHEN I SEE DEATHS!" she crumbles.

"I DONT WANNA LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE! MAKE ME BLIND!" she covers her eyes that are shining with tears.

"MAKE ME BLIND!" chaeyoung can feel something-- someone rather. jungkook's hands touch her hands that are covering her eyes.

suddenly, he takes her hands off.

and chaeyoung sees the world again.

jungkook slowly hugs the broken girl.

"don't go blind." he whispers, chaeyoung can feel her heart shattering even more.

"but isn't it better if i close my eyes forever?" she asks. jungkook shakes his head, "no, i think it's better if we just accept what lies in their eyes. like mine. we're humans chae. we were born to live and born to die."

chaeyoung turns around and meets jungkook's chest. she quickly wraps her arms around his waist.

"i wanna go blind, that way i wouldn't able to see their future."

"but at least i got to see yours."

"are you okay now?" jungkook giggles, "yes yes" chaeyoung clarifies. "thank you jungkook." she mumbles and the boy smiles,

"gomawo" he smiles at her. "you are certainly welcome."

"you know what jungkook?" he hums in response,

"if you will die today, i won't forget you."

jungkook softly ruffles her hair smiling sadly, "i hope you won't."
