Sam
Sam looked at her friends and frowned. Usually she was the childish one but today Violet and Bentley were acting like kids.
Sam pinched the bridge of her nose as she could sense a migraine. She didn't need a headache today. She had been thinking about this day for the past two weeks.
She was finally going to come out.
After eating some sandwiches and half chopped strawberries, thanks to Violet and Bentley's fight, everyone went to their room to change.
Sam chose to wear the clothes she had bought from the men's section. When everybody walked out of the house, they turned to Sam and asked, "Oh, so you're a guy today?" Sam smiled and nodded.
Hela walked up to him and rested her head on his shoulder, "You sure you wanna do this today? You can always do it tomorrow." Sam shook his head, "No, I have to do it someday. Better to do it sooner than later."
They all got into Bentley's car since he was the only one with a car. Violet took shotgun but since she was pissed at Bentley, she crossed her arms, frowned and looked out of the window.
Bentley sighed and spoke with a tinge of annoyance, "Violet, stop being such a kid. So what if I put Legos on your bedroom floor?"
She quickly turned her head towards him and yelled, "SO WHAT?! I FELL ON THOSE LEGOS! My body is sore!"
Bentley smirked at her. Violet threw her hands up in defeat. Sam rolled his eyes and laughed. Bentley pulled up into the college parking lot. Sam took a deep breath and stepped out. He was ready.
**************************
The rest of the day went without any trouble. No one payed much attention to Sam.
That was until he heard some boys talk about him.
"Did you see what Sam was wearing today?"
"Yeah, she was wearing men's clothing. Don't know why though."
"He," Sam interrupted.
"What?" One of the boys stood forward. His name was Chris.
Sam closed his eyes and spoke again, "He."
Chris asked, "Well aren't you a girl?"
"I'm genderfluid, so today I'm a boy."
They didn't realize that by now a crowd had formed around them including his friends. A few people gasped when he said that.
A small smile spread on Chris' face.
"Oh, so you are a fag then?"
Hela muttered, "Oh, no he didn't."
Sam was taken aback by his comment. "N-no, I-I'm not a f-fag."
"Oh, please I know your kind. You all go around telling your different when you just want attention."
Sam could feel his cheeks burning up and his eyes filling.
Chris' friends all laughed and started chanting, "Fag".
This was when Violet and Bentley snapped.
Violet walked up to Chris and peacefully introduced his face to her fist. Chris fell and held his bloody nose and howled in pain.
Bentley walked up to him and picked him up. "Even your friends agree with me."
His sentence was cut short when Bentley suddenly turned Chris towards Violet, "What are you waiting for? Continue." Violet continued punching Chris.
Hela was comforting Sam but she got bored and wanted to join in the fun. She pushed Violet and said, "Hey Chris," and kicked him in the family jewels.
Chris crumbled on to the ground. Sam giggled and the entire crowd cheered. This was when the principal came, "All of you in my office now."
