calliope's eyes widened as the house came into sight. it was huge.

"you live here?" calliope gasped and emmet, whose car she had jumped in, chuckled.

"yep, cool right?" he laughed as the girl nodded quickly.

when the car finally came to a stop, calliope hopped out and tugged her bag over her shoulder.

"where do you live calliope?" rosalie questioned and the two vampires watched as her happiness physically dropped.

"i don't really have a home to go back to" calliope plainly answered. rosalie watched the way calliope's face darkened and how her eyes focused on the ground.

"then where have you been living?" rosalie asked.

"here and there. i've been on the run for five years if i'm correct" calliope replied.

"what happened to your family then?"
rosalie pushed on, curiosity getting the best of her. the blonde vampire not realizing how uncomfortable calliope was starting to feel.

"I think its best if we don't make our guest uncomfortable" carlisle placed his hands on his adoptive daughters shoulders.

"would you like to come inside?" carlisle gestured for calliope to take his hand. Said girl smiled and gently grabbed onto it.

leading her inside, calliope was marveled by how beautiful the house really was. It was built amazingly.

"your house is beautiful" calliope voiced her opinions and the couple smiled.

"thank you calliope" esme thanked the young girl.

"You must be starving, i'll cook you some dinner" esme stated.

"oh no, i don't want to be a bother" calliope rushed, waving her hands quickly.

"its alright, it gives us an excuse to use the kitchen" esme reassured calliope.

"why don't we get alice to show you to the room you'll be staying in" carlisle suggested just as said girl came in through the balcony door.

"it will be my pleasure, come on calliope" alice cheered, hooking her arm with calliope and taking her up the stairs.

"voila! welcome to your new room!" alice opened the door, allowing calliope to enter first.

"alice...this is" calliope was at a lost for words. this was all too much. she had just gotten here and just met these people twenty minutes ago.

"I saw you coming and had this room all set up before you got here" alice said and calliope stared at the girl, clearly confused.

"alice has the gift to see the future" edward appeared at the door, leaning against its frame.

"she had a vision of you arriving so she had decorated this room for you" edward explained.

"i hope its not too much, you look surprised" alice nervously laughed and calliope shook her head.

"no! its not that!" calliope reassured alice.

"its just...i can't remember the last time i had an actual room and this is so beautiful" calliope stated before giving alice a soft hug.

"thank you alice" alice didn't expect the hug but that didn't stop her from returning it.

"its no problem" alice pulled away and gave the girl a big smile.

"now! i wasn't sure what size you were, i took pure guess from my vision" alice started talking again as she walked towards the closet.

"and that bag looks like it can only hold three outfits so...tada!" now calliope definitely felt guilty.

alice opened the closet and there already was plenty of outfits.

"no, this is to much. i can't accept this" calliope sighed and alice crossed her arms.

"why not?"

"I just got here and you all are being so kind to me. i don't deserve any of this" calliope explained and alice smiled at how polite she was.

"it really is no problem calliope. it's been a long time since we had guests stay over so your actually letting us have some fun. besides, i have a feeling your going to be around longer than you think" alice held calliope's hands in hers, rubbing it gently.

From the floor underneath, the others were listening in on the conversation.

"who ever raised, raised her well" esme said as she fried some pancakes.

"she said she was on the run for five years" rosalie put in and everyone thought deeply.

"i read through her mind, she lost her pack at a young age" edward added.

"its a pity, she must of had a hard time growing up" jasper stated.

"especially when she went through her first shift. i can only imagine how painful it would of been to go through alone" carlisle sighed at the thought of such a young girl on her own.

"i wonder what happened to her pack" emmet questioned.

"only time will tell, she'll open up to us eventually" esme placed a stack of pancakes on the bench.

"rosalie, go get calliope for us" esme instructed and rosalie did.

"knock knock" rosalie called out getting the attention of the two females.

"your food is ready calliope" rosalie said and calliope nodded, passing rosalie and running down the stairs.

"i like her" alice said to her adoptive sister.

"i can tell you do to" alice teased and rosalie just rolled her eyes.

"just go downstairs"
