Everyone on the bridge knew they were in danger yet no one ran, they were all captivated by her terrible beauty. Her skin had become pale and cracked like porcelain, her eyes a dull and hypnotic grey. Her lips as blue as her hair which was let out of the pigtails. Her hair framed the pain in her face perfectly. A red stripe around her neck constantly dripped thick muddy water.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing." Her voice was smooth, and so cold. "Isn't that what you told her Alya?" She turned her gaze to Alya and Nino, her hand twitched.

"You were good to her Alya, you were and are good. The rest of you however, you watched poor Marinette as that terrible girl nearly killed her. It is indifferent people like you that allow the girls like Chloé to walk all over everyone else."

Alya recorded in horror as her best friends rage grew. Her outfit had become a sundress, blue as the river and wet as it too. It flowed carelessly in an unseen current. The straps a white lace like material, water dripped off turning into ice after hitting the ground. The bottom of the dress was torn and dripping as well. Her dress was decorated with bits of algae and mildew.

"For your indifference you will pay, as will every other person who has ever hurt sweet Marinette." With a wave of her hand came a wave from the river, a freezing Tsunami hit all but Alya, Nino, Adrien, and Chloé who had managed to save herself by clinging to Adrien.

It was over in seconds but the memory would stain Adrien's mind for years to come. All around him the people were frozen, their skin pale as ivory, covered in a layer of frost. Their lips turned blue, their eyes wide and motionless. They were all dead, that wasn't hard to see.

Adrien took Chloé by the hand and ran her away, knowing she most of all was in danger, as always. They weaved back and forth avoiding hitting any of the civilians, both could feel the extreme cold spilling off the bodies and neither wanted to know what would happen if they were to touch them.

Adrien brought her to a dark alley where he hid her as he ran off to transform into Cat Noir. A few moments later he tried calling his Ladybug but it wouldn't work and he couldn't figure for the life of him why not.

"Some are calling her Yuki-onna, loosely translated and from ancient myths it means 'snow girl'. From the way she has drown and frozen these poor civilians." The frightened news anchor continued showing pictures taken at the bridge and a few scattered people on the streets.

"It's a fitting name for our latest akumatized villain. It's been two days since she has appeared and Ladybug is no where to be found, Cat Noir's only statement was that he would, and I quote, "find his Lady fast before anyone else is harmed". The whole city is anxiously awaiting Ladybug's reappearance."

Master Fu rubbed his forehead in frustration as he turned off his television. Tikki was floating around anxiously awaiting Master Fu's decision. Wayzz following her with a cookie, trying hard to calm her down.

"I had no idea Marinette was capable of such terrible grief to be such a strong and terrible villain." Fu shook his head.

"It's not her fault Master! She isn't in control! I know Marinette and she wouldn't hurt a spider, she really wouldn't. I had to shoo it away for her."

"I know it's not her fault, Marinette has a sweet heart filled with such bittersweet sorrow. We'll have to find a replacement Ladybug for now."

"But what will I tell Cat Noir. Won't he realize that~"

Adrien bursted through the door with Plagg floating by his side.

"I'm sorry Master Fu but we didn't know where else to come. Tikki! No wonder Ladybug is missing in action, what happened?" Plagg flew over to Tikki and Wayzz and the two, in whispers, informed him of the latest action.

"Master Fu?" Adrien carefully shut the door. "What happened to my la~ uh, Ladybug. Why doesn't she have her Miraculous?" He asked noticing the earrings in the mans palm. They stood there a few moments, Fu weighing his options.

"Ladybug has been. Compromised. She can not fight this one so you will need to pick a trust worthy ally to help you defeat this akuma." He choose his words carefully as he placed the earrings in Adrien's open palm.

Adrien looked down at them for a silent second before he began to mutter.

"The only person I could trust with this is Marinette, but she's a little compromised herself." He looked up at Master Fu and it hit him. "No way..."

He dropped to the floor in shock. Master Fu mumbled a curse of frustration. Tikki in the corner frowned and Plagg cheered.

"He's finally figured it out."

"That's not good Plagg! Master Fu might change who our holders are now." Tikki frowned and Wayzz was still trying to comfort her with sweets.

"Marinette is my lady?" Adrien studied the floor for a confusing second before hoping to his feet. "No way! Marinette is my lady, this couldn't be any better!"

Master Fu chuckled to himself. "Well Adrien your lady needs your help right now. I'll need to have a talk to you about this after you de-akumatize her but for now you need to find a new Ladybug, someone you can trust but do not let them figure out Ladybugs true identity."

"Cat's honor sir. Thank you for your help but I must go now. I'll come back here after I know my true lady is safe."

The cat pounced from roof top to roof top searching the city, he knew who he wanted and knew exactly where she'd be. Alya and Nino would be in their designated safe place, hiding in or near the panthers cage where they'd first gotten together at her fathers zoo.

Skipping out on school as they had a tendency to do when there was a loose villain, it didn't help that the villain was a close friend and still hadn't been saved after nearly two days. Alya had been crying all weekend, so had Marinette's parents, Nino had told Adrien so.

Sure enough there they were, holding each other close on a bench near the cage watching the panther pace unhappily back and forth. Cat pounced down in front of them.

"Nino and Alya isn't it?" He flashed them his winner smile. "I need to borrow your babe for a second, top secret mission." Cat winked at Nino and took Alya by the hand running her to an abandon alley.

"What's happening? Shouldn't you and Ladybug be fighting Yuki-onna?" She asked catching her breath.

"Here's the thing. My lady is on vacation over seas and can not come help me."

"But how will you de-akumatize." Alya paused as she looked at the earrings he placed in her palm. She grinned wide. "I get it! So how do I.."

"Say 'spots on' when you're ready." Cat took Alya by the shoulders.

"Are you sure you can do this Alya, I know that girl is your friend and I need to know you'll do whatever it takes to get her back to the way she was. And can I trust you to give your new powers back as soon as we're done?"

Alya nodded. "I can do this." Tikki flew up to Alya and smiled.

"I'm so glad to meet you Alya, I've heard so much about you! Uh, from your blog." She mumbled the last bit realizing it wouldn't be good to mention that her real holder knew her. "Anyway, I'm sure you're cut out for this now say the magic words!"

"Spots on." Alya said with waning confidence. It took her a few minutes to adjust, Tikki was a bit uncomfortable as well. "This suit is so strange it feels so thin, like I'm not wearing anything. I don't do this costume justice." She complained fiddling with her new yo-yo.

"No you do not and we can't discuss things like that right now, we have to save Marinette."

"What are you waiting for, we both know exactly where she's headed. Those poor, indifferent students have no idea what they've done."
