"Did you miss me, Princess?"
More tears ran down my face as I stared up at him, watching as he walked closer to me. In sync, I dragged myself back away from him. I didn't want to be anywhere near him.
I let out a sob once my back collided with the kitchen door and his Timberland boots were in front of me, the same, stupid Timberland boots.
"Please." I whimpered, refusing to look up at him.
He slowly crouched down, making our faces level. His finger and thumb pulled my chin to look up at him but I quickly slapped his hand away from me, he simply laughed.
"Melanie, stop being pathetic. It's only me." He cooed, cupping my cheek.
I shook my head and again, pushed him away.
"What are you doing here?" I cried, my eyes finally meeting his. He moved from his crouched position to now being on his knees, right in front of me.
"I came to see you, I missed you. Did you not miss me?" He smirked.
"You tried to kill me, Liam!" I screamed.
Tears fell from my eyes uncontrollably as the memories flooded back, I covered my face and rested my elbows on top on my bent knees.
"No, Melanie. I tried to save you." He argued back.
He ripped my hands away from my face harshly and cupped both of my cheeks in his hands, forcing me to look at him. He leant towards me, at the same time I was trying to lean back but the wall and his hands stopped me from doing so.
"I tried to save you." He whispered, repeating his words. His breath fanned my face, cooling down my flustered cheeks.
"Please leave, please." I begged.
My eyes never left his as he studied my face, down to my neck, then my arms, chest, stomach, legs... He studied every part of me.
"You've gained weight." He stated, his eyes meeting mine again. I wasn't even offended by his harsh words, I might have been if I cared about the person saying them.
"It's a good thing, your ribs used to show. It wasn't nice." He continued, making my blood boil. I liked my ribs showing, but I also like how I now have a little bit of fat there too.
His jaw clenched and his hands wrapped around my ankles, harshly pulling them towards him so my legs straightened out. His eyes immediately went to my tied up trench coat, making my hands cover the belt so he couldn't touch it.
"Undo you coat, Melanie." He spat.
I shook my head and the tears started falling again, my grip on the belt tightened.
"No." I whispered.
His breaths were short and loud, he was angry. His hands grabbed mine and tried to pull them from my belt, but I refused to let go.
I quickly kicked my leg out and hit his stomach, making him fall back into his backside. I took this as I chance to run, I grabbed the door handle and pulled myself up and ran towards the front door.
