Vampire

Chapter 1

"Do it right! This time!" He yells in anguish, my body rocks with sobs. I hide behind the other humans forcing my eyes closed practically in the fetal position. The hybrid stands over the 'brave' of the group, i gave out labels to almost everyone but they were just a number between me and that thing. The room smells like a metallic that's all too familiar and the hybrid sits still looking over at us, prey. The outlines of his skeleton would have gave someone some sense of vulnerability but not to me. A shiver goes up my spine as his gaze lands somewhat near me.

"You." my blood stops cold and for a few seconds I can't think of a tangible thought.

He doesn't wait though and grabs the bone in my shoulder violently dragging me towards the door. My body gains function and I scream as loud and desperate as I have had in my feeble life. While he drags me up the stairs his other hand clamps over my mouth and with his strong grip he means business. I know he would kill me or sell me if I acted out so the cries die in my throat. My body freezes up as I realize what he might do with me. Why me? I wasn't very contributing or an annoyance. I silently sob as the light blinds me beyond entering.

"What do we have here?" the first thing I notice is the pointed teeth then that my hands are tied behind my back.

"A downed human" someone answers behind me I start to struggle, they're both hybrids "I wouldn't do that." the gangly one says not talking in sincerity but talking down to me.

I probably won't do notes often, but I want to say that this book was just a rough draft it's fun to revise old writings. So it's going to be a work in progress. I'm publishing some of my other book ideas I had and if this gets popular I'll do steady line of publishings. Comment your thoughts in the comments!
