This is officially where the book begins. The other pages were presenting the book.

"Last night was fun," I said while on FaceTime with Riley.

She grins, "Yeah we should hang out more."

"I go back to LA in about 2 months-

"Really? Your staying that long?"

"Yep. Then they are doing casting for this new movie and imma check it out but that's in two months so why not stay here?"

She agrees. We get into a deep conversation until I get a call from Jaliyah.

"Damn, Michael," Riley giggles.

I keep declining the call but she won't stop calling.

"Sorry, Jaliyah won't stop calling me." I say continuing to decline.

"....You talk to Jaliyah? Rains?" She asks worriedly.

"No, it's just I still have the same number since high school so..."

"Ohhhh. She's really a bitch to me."

"Really? Why?"

She hesitates, "...its a long story."

I shrug.

"She keeps calling! I'll call you on my other phone."

She smiles, "Alright."

We finish our conversation then we hang up. I go check on my other phone and call back Jaliyah.

"Why you ain't answer boy?" She asks.

Why the hell she think she my girl?

"Because I don't have to."

"Who was you on the phone with that's more important than me?"

"None of yo damn business," I snap.

"Okay, Okay," She says. "How Travis doing?"

"Ask him." I hang up.

I roll my eyes and go into the den.
