I'm what they call, a normal. I live a boring life. I don't talk much or interact with people other than my family. I don't mind it much. Though, I do sometimes wish I was popular. Having kids look up to you and want to be in your shoes. Actually have friends. But I do have some friends. There's Caylie, who is a normal like me. Then there's Christina and Andrew, kind of on the popular side but not up there. Yet. I'm bored like usual so I decide to text Caylie;

Me: Hey Caylie.

Caylie: Hi Mark! What's up?

Me: The usual. Nothing.

C: Sounds fun! Wanna hangout?

M: Sure.... 4:30?

C: Sounds good. See you there.

We go to the park and to my surprise, we see Andrew and Christina playing tonsil hockey. But it's pretty normal. They're the ones who can't spend 14 seconds without ones tongue down the others throat. I'm sure me and Caylie are thinking the same thing. "When are they gonna come up for air?" We look to each other and snicker.

But then I think of what it would be like to have a girlfriend. Someone to lay with while watching a movie. I'm brought back to reality when Caylie says "So what do you think" I try to think of a response. "Y-Yes." She laughs and says "I asked if I should punch you in the face". I chuckle and apologize. She always made me laugh. Usually when I make her laugh and she snorts. It gets me every time. But whenever she laughs, I get a quick glimpse of her perfect smile. It reminds me of how beautiful she is. With her perfect hair, those bright blue eyes with just the right amount of mascara on them. They all go great with her perfect smile. Oh, how much I would pay to see her smile. She doesn't do it much so I was happy when I saw it. I love her so much. It wasn't long before I started getting lost in my thoughts. Again.
