Chapter 2: Hyunjin/The Game

Hyunjin and Yeojin climbed the ladder out to the roof. Yeojin gasped. "It's a warehouse it is just a plain warehouse? Where are the windows and doors?" Hyunjin stayed quiet observing the place. 

It seemed to be a warehouse, but it was so baron. She saw 7 other cubes not including her owns. The warehouse was very spacious and didn't have much to it. Besides on the opposite side of the cubes was other girls and a projection on the wall. "We should head over there Yeojin. I'm Hyunjin by the way" As they climb down Hyunjin notices the bracelets on the girls wrist, "Hey Yeojin what does your bracelet say?" Hyunjins had a 3 on the face of the bracelet. "Its a 3 why?" "No reason mine just says 3 also." Hyunjin also noticed a 2 in the corner of the face. "Hmm" she said to herself.

Hyunjin made her way over to the girls and the monitor it seemed to be 8 girls no including her and Yeojin.They all had bracelets on, but that was really the only similarity to the group of girls. There were 2 blonde girls talk to each other, and it seems that the other 6 had darker hair. "Hey did you two come out together?" one of the blonde girls said noticing Hyunjin and Yeojin walking towards them. "Yea, we did" Yeojin answered "Did you come out with a partner?" "No I didn't, but neither did Jinsoul." she said. Hyunjin sensed some panic in her voice. "Who is that, wait do you guys all know each other?" Hyunjin said "We already introduced ourselves." A girl with light pink hair said.

The girls then proceed to go around and introduce themselves. First to start was the girl with Pink hair, "Hey Im Vivi and I was in a cube with her." she said nodding to a short girl with light brown hair. "Yup she is right, I'm Chuu by the way" She said in a bubbly way, not very accurate for the situation. "I know she seems a little out of place." the blonde girl who had spoken earlier said, "My name is Kimlip, nice to meet you.To bad it has to be in this creepy situation." The other blonde girl spoke next. "Im Jinsoul and I also was alone." she spoke very fast that it took Hyunjin a minute to comprehend. "I'm Hyunjin and this is Yeojin" Hyunjin said pulling Yeojin close. Hyunjin had been observing Yeojin and she could clearly see that she was very nervous. Yeojin put off a little smile. "Yea and we came together." "I think we got that." Kimlip said. "I'm Choerry! And I also didn't wake up with anyone. I have a quick question too, um so does everyones watch thingy have a 3? Or is that just me?" "No we do too." Yeojin said looking at Hyunjin and back at Choerry. "Hmm ok I wonder what it means... Anyway sorry you last two for interrupting." she giggled and took a step back. We have some strange people here Hyunjin thought to herself. "I guess that leaves us We were the first two to come out of our cube. I'm Yves and this is Heejin." Heejin seemed to only pay attention when she heard her name, "Huh oh yea I'm Heejin nice to meet you." Another girl was standing behind the others very quietly just observing. "Hey what is your name miss?" "Olivia" she said sharply. She must be shy Hyunjin thought to herself. The girls talked a bit more for what seemed relatively short. "So anyone know how to get..." Yves was cut off by a noise in the farthest Cube. "NOoooooo Don't touch me you freak! WHO ARE YOU!" The 10 girls looked at each other and decided to go check the situation out. As they were walking to the commotion Yeojin pulled Hyunjin to the side. "Do you think we can trust these people. What if they are the ones who put us in here." "Yea I get where you are coming from, but we don't really have any other choice right now. Just stick with me and we will get out of here." Hyunjin stuck out her pinky. Yeojin responded with her pinky and nodded.

When they got to the scene a blonde girl was on the roof and another was coming up the ladder. "Hey can you guys help me please. There is some lady in here coming for me." the blonde girl said frantically. Yves came up to the cube and reached her arms out. "Come on i'll catch you. What is your name." The girl was relatively short, about Chuu's height and Yves set her down easily. "I'm Gowon and thank you." she said looking at the floor. "Hey I didn't come for you! I was waking you up." the girl on the roof said. She hopped off the cube and landed on the floor in front of the cube. "I'm Haseul, and I was just trying to wake her up I swear." just then a loud noise came from the ceiling "ALL GIRLS AWAKE INJECTION 1 COMMENCE" "huh" the girls said looking up. "Ow" Yeojin said "My bracelet just pricked" Yeojin fell to the floor without finishing the sentence. "Oh My god what is happening" Gowon said. Hyunjin ran over to Yeojin shaking her "Wake up Wake Up" "Ow" Olivia said grabbing her wrist where the bracelet was and then fell to the ground. "Oh my Please no the bracelet is killing them." Chuu screamed. A sound came from Choerry who was standing next to Hyunjin and she looked like she was in pain. The other girls turned to see Choerry fall to the ground. "No No no please don't OW" Gowon screeched at the pain. Haseul went to Gowon and caught her as she fell. "What is happening to us" Hyunjin said, when she finished she felt the prick of the bracelet into her wrist. "Noo" Hyunjin said feeling the injection surge through her veins. She began to feel conscious slipping away. It wasn't very painful, it was just a different sensation.

Hyunjin saw her memories flash before her. She saw her life, her family, her friends. The last thing she remembered was a man saying. We want you to debut as Loona's second girl.

Hyunjin woke after who knows how long. When she rose she saw some of the other girls discussing what had happened. Choerry, Gowon, who seemed to have calmed down by the other girls, Heejin, Yves and Chuu were all talking. "Hyunjin did you get memories too?" Yves asked frantically. " Yes, was that what the shot was from?" 'I think so we all got our memories too." Chuu chimed in. "I don't remember any of you though. I just remember my life, and my acceptance into Loona? Was it?" "oh my god, me too!" Choerry and Gowon said. "I was number 11th or member 11?" a clearly calmed down Gowon said. "We all got it" Yves said "They must have something to do with this then or Loona does." The girls talked about their memories as they waited for the others to wake up. When Yeojin arose, Hyunjin ran over to her. "Are you ok, you had me worried when you fell." Yeojin looked up lifting herself up she said, "Yea I got my memories back" she glanced to her left seeing Haseul still out. "I wasn't the only one to get pricked then?" "You were the first, but we all did. Come over here we are just waiting for Haseul to rise now."

Once Haseul rose she looked at the other girls and realized that she was the last one. "I was number 3. What does that mean? Is that why the bracelet says 3?" Hyunjin checked her face, only to see it still said 3. "No we all have 3, but we were each different numbers, I was number 9, Chuu was 10." Yves said glancing at Chuu. "I was 2 Hyunjin said." The girls went around discussing numbers and what they meant. "Olivia you haven't said anything yet. Since there is 12 girls does that mean you are 12? Or are you 0?" Before Olivia answered The projector lit up. Showing a screen with 12 different animals on it. "LADIES PLEASE! TURN YOUR ATTENTION TO THE SCREEN, I AM ABOUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. WELL SOME OF THEM" Yeojin grabbed Hyunjin's hand and watching intently, squeezing Hyunjin's hand periodically.

(Please keep quiet. About this project, It should be known you all agreed to this. You won't remember because all of your memories had to be wiped for this to work correctly. Except for one, but she won't be revealing herself. For safety purposes and because she wants this to succeed just as much as you all wanted it too.

To the place. You are in a warehouse locked away from everything, meaning please don't waste time making noise it isn't going to work. Just simply play the game and you can get out, but do hurry we only have enough oxygen for a limited amount of time.

Now to the project, it is simple really. Escape either together, alone, with a partner. It doesn't matter, you decide. The only way to escape is to get 12 points and unlock the door. Seems simple until you realize that the door only lets people with 12 points leave and it can only be opened once, for 30 seconds.

Now if you would all look at your wrist you will see a bracelet with the number 3 and a number in the corner. If it is a 1 you are a soloist for this round. 2 means you are a pair, and your pair is the person who was in your cell. This is important. For surviving the game. In order to increase your points you will need to Vote, but we will get into that a little later in the game. For now all you have to worry about is getting through the doors together and Alive.

Hyunjin looks around to see if anyone does what the Projection says. "It says 7 minutes" Kimlip says "What does that have to..." She is cut off by the resumption of the projector.
