Awake or Dreaming?

Colby's pov

She's been awake for  three weeks now. She still wears her ring everyday. She refuses to take it off. She tells me her voice is gone when she has it. "Colby?" Y/n wakes up and cuddles close to my chest.

"Ya?"

"Go to sleep your moving to much," she puts her face in my chest and smiles.

"Okay," I pull her closer her in the fetal position in my arms and legs around her's.

I fall asleep like that with her in my arms and feeling warm with her in them.

I wake up with the sound of y/n's phone ringing. She shuffles in my arms and I grab her phone looking at the text.

'Leaving Henry was a big mistake. Hope you know that. Love your daddy. ❤'

I stare at the message who her dad was.

"Colby?" I look down at y/n. "What are doing with my phone?" She smiles a confused smile.

"Your dad texted you and it woke me up. Sorry just... You... You didn't wake up and so I looked at it hope you don't mind," she smiles.

"Your fine I have nothing to hide you can go through it I don't care," she rolls over on her side. "I am loyal."

"I wasn't gonna go through it I just - wait how long have you and your dad been texting?" I rub my hand on her shoulder.

"Hmm... two weeks maybe three. I dunno, why?" She mumbles the last part.

"Is he why you left Henry?" She nods slightly. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"He said he'd kill you. I wouldn't live if you died. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I love you," she panics and flips over grabbing my shoulder smashing he face into my chest.

"Oof. Your fine it's alright I get it I would have done the same if I was in your shoes."

"You would?"

"Ya, uh I uh I really do love you Y/n."

"Well then what time is it?"

"Uh ten thirty seven. Why?" I cock my head a bit.

"Ten thirty, up up up," she smacks my shoulder a bit.

"Whoa hold up where's the fire?" I move so she can get out of the bed.

"Why didnt my phone go off earlier? Huh oh uh nothing I just need to see the doctor hes gonna run a test to see if its gone."

"Oh ok then go what time was the appointment?"

"Eleven, it takes a half an hour to get there and checked in I was gonna get up at ten go get coffee and then go check in but that didn't work. Dammit!" She yells putting on some shorts and pointing at my jacket. I nod. She slides it over her. I can't help,but stare.

"You're beautiful."

"I know," she smirks and shakes her hips.

"Your such a goofball," I roll my eyes and laugh.

Hey my peeps sorry its been forever really busy I'm out of school tho so hopefully will be posting more often. Kk sorry this chapter is so short just been going through a lot lately been trying to,post more often tho.
