I can't believe I grew boobs. Yup, that's the first thought that came into my mind as I woke up. It's been I while since I've had them, but it's still different. No more sports bras, those sure don't help me at all anymore. It was 12:19 when I looked at my phone. I also saw a text from my best friend Victoria asking if I got up yet. I replied with a simple yes and told her to come over soon. We've know each other since birth. Our moms are best friends and we are too. I wonder is our kids will be friends, it's most likely since we're more like sisters than best friends at this point.
"Luci, hurry up or you'll be late for orientation" Adriana yelled from downstairs.
"It's not like I take long to get ready anyways" I yelled back.
Adriana is my older sister. She's always there to look out for me and she always knows best, I guess she has to now since mom hasn't been around for a while. She never said where she was going and we didn't think much of it, only because we thought she would be back soon. I always replay that night in my head over and over again, wondering what would've happened if I asked where she was going that late, or why her bag looked like it was about to explode because of how much stuff was in it. Maybe she would still be here, or maybe something worse could've happened. The things I think about while brushing my teeth, somewhat normal for me. I put on some eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss and did my eyebrows. I don't wear that much makeup since I don't think I need it. I decided to wear something cute but not too much.

I tied the flannel around my waist since it was warm outside. I left my hair down today since I didn't feel like doing anything with it. Adriana called me down to eat breakfast since Victoria was here. After we finished, Tori and I left to go to orientation. On our way there we saw a group of kids our age. Two guys and one girl. They saw that we were going the same way and decided to introduce themselves.
"Hey ladies, I'm Ruben" The short Latino boy said.
"Sorry about him, I'm Monse and that's Jamal" She said while motioning towards the other guy who looked shy while he gave a small wave to us.
"I'm Luciana and that's Victoria" I said as I smiled and pointed to Tori.
"Are you guys going to orientation?" Asked Ruben.
"Yeah we are" Said Tori as she smiled at him.
"We should all walk together then" Jamal suggested looking around to see is it was okay with everyone.
We all mumbled "sure" or "ok" and started walking again. We had conversations about random things. After a while of walking, Monse, Ruby and Jamal were arguing about something that this guy named Cesar said. Tori and and just listened and occasionally gave each other looks which said that neither of us knew what was going on. Monse explained that while she was at writing camp, one of her best friends Cesar said something to Ruby and Jamal and now they won't tell her. After she finished explaining all that, this red car came around the corner and Monse said something that I didn't hear and then she walked towards the middle of the road to stop the car. There was and older guy in the drivers seat and a younger one in the passenger seat. If I had to guess, passenger boy was Cesar. Monse was exchanging words with the older guy about something, but I wasn't really focused since passenger boy wouldn't stop staring at me.
"Who are your new friends?" Passenger boy asked Monse.
"Why would you care?" She slightly snapped at him.
He didn't even look at her when he asked or when she replied to him. He just kept looking at me, its like he was trying to look at my soul.
"Ill see you around hermosa" he told me with a smirk on his plum lips.
I was so stunned that I didn't get to say anything before they drove away. The four of them were just looking at me, waiting for me to say anything but I didn't know what to say.
"Who are they?" asked Tori.
"The one in the passenger seat is Cesar Diaz and the other is his brother, Oscar, also known as Spooky. He's the leader of the Santos. Never ever cross him." he said sounding a bit scared when he talked about Oscar.
Tori and I looked at each other. I knew she was thinking the same thing that I was. The Diaz brothers, are not safe.
Woahhh. First chapter done. I know it's not that long but I'll try and make the other chapters a little longer ! Let me know if you have any ideas or if you want a certain person to play a certain character. Also, I'll try and update at least once a week, most likely Thursdays.
