"Are you high? I'm not gonna hash shit out. To what end? Death? Cesar might've joined the gang." Jamal said to Monse.
"He's not stupid. He's affiliated, yes because of his brother, but..." Monse was saying before she got cute off by Jamal.
"And his cousins, his uncles, his dad, his grandpa. Even the gay one." He said.
"I know I know" she said.
"Wait. You knew about the gay one? I mean he goes by the name bananas. It's not that subtle."
Jamal had been trying to convince Monse that going to talk to Cesar is a bad idea but she won't listen him and she still went.
"I need to talk to you" she said to Cesar
"In listening" he said
"Privately?" She asked
"Yeah, we can go inside. But if you wanna sit on my face, you gotta out that mouth on pause so I can concentrate." Cesar said to Monse.
"Cesar is dead to me!" She exclaimed
"Told ya" Jamal said
I really did feel bad for her. No girl should be spoken to like that. It just wasn't right, but something is telling me that what Cesar said, wasn't true at all. It wasn't him, but then again, I don't even know the guy. I had zoned out after Jamal's dad introduced himself to Tori and I, but what Jamal said brought me back and I was in disbelief.
"Cesar said you let him hit it before you left for camp."
Monse look angry, shocked and hurt. Jamal instantly regretted saying it and Tori's mouth was wide open. I swear I say a fly land in her tongue. Tori and I decided to give them some space and told them that we would meet up with them tomorrow. We walked to Tori's house and said goodbye there and I walked the rest of the way to my house. I did my nightly routine and fell asleep thinking about what Cesar had said.
___________________________________ "LUCI WAKE UP" my sister yelled while banging on my door.
"God what do you want it's like 10am and I'm still tired" I asked
"I'm going out with some friends, you can invite yours over if you want, just make sure you don't make a mess because I won't be back until tomorrow"
"Okay be careful and don't do anything stupid" I said
"I'll try not to" she laughed slightly as she said that.
When Adriana says that she going out with "friends", she means she's doing a drug run. Didn't expect that right. She's involved with a family gang only to get money for us. They treat us like they're own kids and we love them. Drug runs aren't that hard so they make her do it because they know she can handle that. I asked if I could help them too but they said that I was too young and if I got hurt in anyway, they wouldn't ever forgive themselves. I'm still not sure why Adri doesn't tell me that she's doing one even though I know she is. It's pretty obvious to me since she doesn't go out that much. My uncle was the leader and he's always cared for us. So whenever we need something big, we go to him. He's the only father figure I've ever had. I texted Tori and told her to come over and she said she would be there in a hour. That gave me time to get ready.
