Sameer Rathore's POV:

I am sitting in the conference room right now, alone. Today is one of the two days I dreaded facing in my life. One is the day when Roshni died, and another day is today. The day when Riya died. She was the bravest person I have ever met in my life. She was beautiful not only by face but by heart.

I heard someone calling me and I looked up startled.

Ayesha : Good morning Sir!!

I saw Ayesha looking at me smiling. But today I can't smile back, even if I want to.

Rathore: Go... Good morning!!

I greeted her back trying not to show what I am feeling right now. Roshni was my best friend but I loved Riya not only as a colleague but as a sister too.

Ayesha : Everything alright??

 She looked at me tensed. I sighed trying to control my emotions.

Rathore: Hmm.

I nodded at her and she sat on the chair beside me. I can feel her gaze on me though I am not even looking at her.

Shree: Sir we are ready.

I looked up only to see Shree and Chotu looking at me sadly. I know they misses Riya the most. She was their partner in crime.

Rathore: Fine, let's go. .

I nodded and got up ready to go.

Shree: But Arjun Sir??

Shree asked looking tensed. Arjun, I don't know if he even remember that we had a team member named Riya, who gave her life to save this city.

Rathore: He will come if he wants to. I doubt if he even remember her.

I snapped at him and they both looked down. I know Riya cared for Arjun a lot. Sometimes I felt as if he too was calming down somewhat. But then she died, and he became even more ferocious.

Finally everyone came in the conference room.

Ayesha: Sir?? 

Ayesha asked looking at me confused.

Rathore: You all stay here and inform me if something happens. Shree, Chotu, come with me.

I told them and went towards the door.

Shree & Chotu: Yes sir!!

They said and followed me suddenly I heard Sakshi's voice.

Sakshi: But sir...

I looked at her and she is looking at me baffled. Another girl who wants Arjun to smile. A girl who is trying her best to penetrate the wall Arjun had build around his heart. But she doesn't even know what she is trying to do. Arjun is a dormant volcano right now. If you wake him up, you have to be an ocean so that you can calm him down.

Rathore: Do as I say.

I glared at her and she looked down gulping. She can't even tolerate my anger then how will she be able to tolerate Arjun. She is not the one who can calm him down. That much I can understand.
