I looked at all the preparations and felt a heaviness in my heart. Everyone say that Manyata is just like me. She is my shadow. And now my shadow is leaving me for ever. Though I consider Uday as my son but still Manyata always held a special place in my heart. She is the first child of this palace. She is the heir of this palace.
I sat down on the couch in the living room waiting for Jai to come. I know these children should be given a chance to enjoy and that's why I decided that no elder will attend this Mehendi function. I have already called Uday and told him that he and his friends can attend this function too. After all both of my children are marrying for the first and last time. And yes, I am sure that this is last time because I know they both love each other too much.
Suddenly I heard someone's footsteps. I went out to the foyer only to see Sakshi coming down. She is looking beautiful.

I asked looking at her curiously. She is looking somewhat tensed. Though I know she is trying her best to hide it, but I can see that something is bothering her.

She asked looking at me curiously. I sighed and smiled at her softly. Her eyes are full of pain though she is smiling as if nothing is wrong. I just hope her family don't leave her alone, she is not in the condition to be left alone.

I said to her smiling and she looked at me baffled. I know no one can even think that we all will miss our Manyata's wedding function but it is important for all of the youngsters to have some space.
