Zoë had decided she would be staying with Pepper so as to make sure that the woman was all right, but for her to do that, she had to first grab some of her things from her apartment. And so, the moment she learned she could stay with her, she drove back to her home to grab what she thought to be essential.

As she got in her apartment, she immediately searched for her pajamas, hairbrush, toothbrush and toothpaste, knowing that these things were needed. When she grabbed these things, she made her way to the room where she kept her paintings and her books. She did not even think of taking her flute with her. She knew, she would be in no mood to play with everything happening.

Instead of grabbing her flute, she grabbed one of the paintings she had yet to fill with colours and all her paintbrushes and colours. Without thinking of it twice, she left the apartment and got in her car.

She put her things in the backseat and turned on the engine. For the second time that day, she drove to the Avengers Facility.

When she reached the building, there was a jet parked in front of the entrance. With her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, she parked her car a few ways away and got in the building. She could hear voices.

Zoë made her way to the upper floor, following the noise. It did not take her long to find them. There, in the place where Tony's friend, Rhodey, held meetings with the hologram of the President, was the man himself and six more people. She recognised all of them.

She saw Vision, who seemed to be injured as he clutched on another woman's arm that she remembered as Wanda from the time she had been held in the Avengers Facility. Her eyes trailed to another man that had wings adjusted to his sides. Sam, she remembered.

"I remember you."

Zoë looked up with a start, catching the eyes of Natasha. Soon enough, everyone was looking at her. Somewhat uncomfortable with having all eyes on her, the woman adjusted her hold on the painting.

"I really did not expect you to," she murmured, looking at Captain America briefly before turning to Bruce Banner. She shot a small smile to the shy man before turning her eyes to the only injured in the room. "What happened?"

"We were attacked," Wanda replied, her eyes locking with Zoë's. The Asgardian recognised the worry in her eyes.

"By whom?"

The woman did not receive an answer as Sam raised a dubious eyebrow at her.

"Who are you again?"

"I am Mr Stark's gardener," she mumbled, a small yelp escaping her lips as her painting almost fell from her hands. To her luck, Rhodey was quick to grab the painting before it fell to the ground, receiving a bright smile in return that seemed to light up her whole face.

"Flowergirl, right?" Steve asked, an eyebrow raised as he looked at the woman.

The Asgardian let out a small chuckle. "My name is actually Zoë. Mr Stark just likes to give people nicknames."

But none of them smiled, leaving her chuckles to slowly die out. Growing uncomfortable, the woman looked down at her feet. "Rhodey, have you seen Pepper?"

"I believe she is in her chambers."

Nodding, the woman stole a last look at all the Avengers around her before leaving as quickly as she could. She made her way to Pepper's chambers, in order to ask where she would be living. She reached the door leading to her room and knocked on it.

"Come in."

Zoë left her things on the floor carefully and opened the door, immediately searching around for the woman. It did not take long to find her. Pepper was standing near the window, looking up at the dark sky, no doubt searching for any trace of the spaceship that Tony had dissapeared to. The Asgardian frowned slightly.
