The Avengers Facility was silent, all the lights were out. It was understandable, really, as usually, people were asleep during the early hours of the morning. As those in the Avengers Facility were asleep, they did not notice the jet that was landing just in front of the door.

A blond man and another dark haired man that was wearing a destroyed suit stepped out of the jet.

"I still have to find my brother," the blond man murmured, walking back to the jet. "Get some rest, Tony. You need it."

With that, the jet took off, leaving the man named Tony alone with the options of staying out there all night or getting in the building. With a sigh, the man got inside the building.

Zoë was startled awake by the sound of something or someone walking. She could hear the heavy footsteps, and her eyes immediately grew wide as she thought that Bruce Banner had turned into the Hulk and was walking around the building without someone to supervise him.

Wide awake, the woman did not even think of getting dressed as she headed out of her room barefoot in only the pajamas Pepper had given her. She did not care that she had not brushed her hair and that she would probably freeze the moment she left her room. Someone was in the house, and she had to make sure that that someone was not a threat.

Leaving her room, she walked silently and quickly to the place she was hearing the noises coming from. Just as she took a turn on her right, she found a gun pointed at her head.

A gasp escaped her lips and her eyes widened as she looked at the one holding the gun. Natasha, realising it was just her, rolled her eyes before lowering her gun. "What are you doing out of your room?"

"I heard noises and came to investigate," she whispered as she looked behind Natasha. Rhodey raised an eyebrow at her, but said nothing. With pursed lips, the Asgardian moved to the side and brushed past Natasha. She continued following the noises, but not for long as Rhodey stopped in front of her.

"Perhaps you should go to your room."

"Perhaps you should learn how to trust," she shot back, too angry with him to even care about his feelings. She brushed past him and followed the noise. However, she had not made two steps when another called her name. She turned around as Steve caught up to her.

"Can you hear where the noise is coming from?"

"Give me some time," she mumbled as she continued following the noise, the blond just behind her. "I think it is coming from the kitchen."

The moment she spoke, Steve and Natasha walked past her, Rhodey behind them. As she turned her head to the side, she saw Bruce. The man had chosen to stay back with her.

Together, the doctor and the gardener followed after the others in the kitchen, only to come across a peculiar scene; Tony Stark in his very damaged Iron Man suit, quite injured, eating what was left of the dinner. The moment he realised he had company, he turned around, still chewing on his food. He waited until he had swallowed and then raised an eyebrow at all of them.

"Well, have you never seen a man eating before?"

A huge smile appeared on Zoë's lips at the sound of the man's voice, and even if he was injured and there was no humour in his voice, she could not help but raise a hand to her lips so as to muffle her laugher. But before any person in the room could say anything, a gasp made everyone turn around to the door.

Pepper stood by the door, her eyes wide as she looked at the man. Tony left his food to the side and smiled at her.

"Tony?"
