The garden was the only place the Asgardian could go in order to try and calm herself. She did not wish to stay in the same room as everyone else for long, especially if Natasha and Steve were in the room.

She felt as if they were judging her, wondering if she were mental to send Thor away in search of a dead man and another that could as well be the same. But that was not it.

She had asked from Thor to search for Tony because she knew, Pepper would be devastated if the man never returned. She did not wish for her to feel like she did, having the one she loved dead. At least, if he were to be dead, Pepper would have his body, she would be able to mourn, bury him. She felt like this would be the best for the mortal.

As for asking for Loki, she would admit, that was because of her being selfish. Even if he was dead, she did not wish for his body to move around in space. For whatever reason, Zoë felt that if she had his body, she would be able to do something. However, she did not really know what.

With a sigh, the woman stopped walking in the middle of the garden. She looked around her at all the plants, the last reminder that there was still something beautiful in the building. A small smile slipped on her lips, and without hesitating, she raised her arms and opened them wide, so as if to stop someone from passing. She opened her palms, and let all energy course through her.

Golden spheres seemed to leave every part of her body, glowing in the light. The leaves of the trees and the flowers around her moved slightly, as if a gentle breeze had woken them up. The spheres of light were absorbed by each leaf, until no golden light was left floating in the garden.

"That was beautiful."

Zoë turned around, surprised at the voice behind her. Pepper was walking towards her, a small smile on her lips as she looked at the trees around her.

"That's how the garden seemed so beautiful every time you came over, right?"

"Indeed," the Asgardian revealed as the mortal stopped walking just next to her. Pepper looked up at her gardener, the smile still not leaving her lips.

"Thor told us some things about you yesterday, when you were gone. He said that you and him were good friends, but you always seemed to prefer Loki over him."

"That's true," Zoë agreed, the tiniest of smiles on her lips. "I was around Loki most of the time, he was way less loud."

Pepper's smile widened just a little. "He told us that you were a fan of long dresses and that you always wore one. That's why I gave you this dress."

"Thank you, Pepper," Zoë smiled, as she looked down at the dress. "Indeed, it reminds me of my time in Asgard."

"That's great," the mortal exclaimed. "I was worrying that it would not fit you, it's not mine, you see, I am not as tall as you are. It was my mother's."

Not wanting to ask why the woman would still have a dress of her mother's in the building, Zoë decided to just smile at her. "I should have brought some clothes with me when I came here. I really did not think of that at the time."

"It's no problem, don't you worry," Pepper assured her. "Can I ask you something?"

"I guess that you can," the gardener mumbled, her eyebrows furrowed as she thought of all the possible questions the woman could ask that she would not wish to answer. Noticing her expression, Pepper chuckled.

"Don't you worry, Flowergirl, it's not something inappropriate. I just wished to know of your powers."

Zoë's eyes widened in realisation, before she nodded. She looked around the garden, and then back to the woman next to her. "It is basically what you saw. I can make any plant healthy. For instance, if a flower is withering, you should just bring it to me and it is going to be full of life again with just a touch."
