Erika's POV

"ERIKA! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"Scott? SCOTT!"

I pushed myself up from the grass. I tried to look for Scott but all I got was blinding light.

I squinted and in the distance i could see a silhouette.

"Scott." I breathed.

I ran to the silhouette that was Scott.

"Scott, why are we here? I don't remember coming here?"

As i got closer I could see that Scott didn't have curly hair, he had his hair sticking up.

He wasn't wearing a t-shirt and jeans like he usually does, as i looked at his face I realized that he wasn't Scott.

I stopped a few feet away from him, my heart beat started quickening.

"ERIKA!"

I whipped my head around to the left and to the right but i still couldn't see Scott.

I looked forward to where the guy was standing but he vanished.

"Or so you thought.." he whispered in my ear.

I froze as touched my hair and smelled me. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't think, I couldn't act.

I gulped as he put both of his hands on my waist and pulled me into his chest.

I looked up at him.

"Let me go." I said as i started squirming.

"nuh ah ah." he said as his grip tightened.

I looked up at him to glare but when I did look up his brown eyes had changed to a bright red.

He smiled at me and i could see his fangs.

"ERIKA!"

I turned around to see Scott across the lacrosse field.

"SCOTT!"

I yelled and with all the strength I had I punched and kicked, but it was no use.

Scott was running to us by now.

"SCOTT!"

"ERIKA I'M COMING! I'LL GET THERE EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!"

"in his dreams..."

Then I let out a blood curdling scream of agony as he dug his fangs into my flesh.

I jolted awake.

I was breathing heavily as I looked around to find myself in my room instead of on the lacrosse field.

I shivered as I threw the blankest & sheets off me.

I stretched my muscles as I was getting my shower ready. I got in the shower as soon as it didn't feel like hot lava.

I wrapped a towel around myself when i got out.

I put on denim shorts, a black shirt that had "Cali Says Relax" in red block letters & a pair of red Jordans.

I blow dried my hair and straigthened it.

I grabbed a red beanie from off my dresser, my iPhone, my backpack from the floor, my car keys & headed outside to start my day at school.
