Chapter 5

Jungkook feels his heart beats faster. Would Y/N really do this to him? He understand that their relationship is not that great right now, by would she go to the extend to sabotage his career this way? No, Jungkook dont think Y/N is that type of a person. He tried to calm himself, getting rid of all irrational thoughts.

His steps quicken as he makes his way to the Jang's mansion. He needs to see Y/N now before he loses his mind. His phone rings and quickly picks it up without looking at the caller.

"Hey Kookie. I saw the article. Are you okay?" Jae Eun's shrill voice filled the air. Jungkook huffed. He has no time for this.

"Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine," he grumbled. "Hey Jae Eun, by any chance, you didnt send the photo to the media right?" Jungkook decide to asks. He can hear Jae Eun hesitates for a bit before finally answering.

"Umm.. yeah of course not! Why would I do that? I know how much it will hurt you baby," Jae Eun gushes. "I couldnt imagine who would have done it. Its only the three of us there. Wait," Jungkook stopped in his tracks, waiting for Jae Eun to finish what she wanted to say. "You dont think its Y/N? Couldnt be right?"

Jungkook felt his heart beats faster. He starts to sweat. He had thought about it, and now even Jae Eun had thought about it. Could it really be her? Could she really did this to him? "N..no. I dont think so. She dont have a reason to," Jungkook try to reason, more to convince himself rather than Jae Eun.

"Well..." she pauses. "You know how she always seems uncomfortable when she's with us. Could it be she's jealous? Maybe she thought if she do this we will fight and break it off. She was there when you told me you dont want the photo to leaked out,"

Jungkook is silenced by Jae Eun's words. He himself had sense some jealousy from Y/N. What had been something that makes him happy when he sees it then, makes him filled with rage now. Is her jealousy the reason she is willing to ruin his career? He quickly ended the call and continur his way to the mansion.

Without thinking, Jungkook storm to the Jang's family mansion, furiously ringing the bell. Luckily for him, Y/N is the one who buzzes him in and not one of the maids. Y/N greeted him with a smiling face, a phone stuck between her shoulder and her ear as she use her hands to pull open the door.

"I know. I miss you a lot too oppa! Come back soon, I'm cooking dinner for you," Jungkook heard her talking to the person on the phone. Must be Jae Min. All rational thoughts of discussing the issue calmly with Y/N went out the window. Between his own thoughts, Jae Eun's words and the sweet convesation he just heard between Y/N and Jae Min, he cant contain his emotion anymore. He just want to hurt her as much as she's hurting his heart right now.Y/N immediately flash him a smile and hung up the phone when she sees him.

"Hey Jungkook. Jae Eun is not here. She-"

"I'm not here to see her. I need to talk to you. Now!" he shouted at her, grabbing her harshly by the arms and dragging her upstairs into her room. Jungkook can see a bright red mark from where he had gripped her too tightly as she rubbed the area softly. Jungkook felt a little guilty when he sees her flinched in pain. What Jae Eun said is right, Y/N is too nice for her own good. She didnt even say anything about it, instead her face is laced with concern for him.

"Jungkook, are you okay?" her voice soft and she raised a hand to touch his shoulders. Even after the harsh way he dragged her and shouted at her for no definite reason, she is still sweet and worry about him. Jungkook's mind is going crazy. He feels guilt and anger combined to become one. Jungkook shakes his head and focus himself on the topic in hand.

"What the hell is this?!" He threw the tabloid at Y/N, almost hitting her face. She quietly picks up the tabloid and her eyes widen when she read the headlines.
