Once they both buckled themselves into their seats, Dinah headed off from MiAmi Child Care Services and made a sharp left turn in the direction of their house. Not even two minutes into the almost silent drive, Normani started in with her list of to do's she had wanted to have completed before her other two children had came home.

"Alright so we need to set up an appointment with Dr. Ross later today, we'll probably have to return some of the things we had bought, Lauren is smaller than I had originally thought, and the girls should be home in four hours, also don't forget we have to make sure that Taylor has everything she needs for our restaurant! Oh my god Dinah we forgot to-"

"Babe!" Dinah interrupted, quickly glancing over at her panicking wife before dragging her eyes back onto the road. "Breathe okay? I already called the doctors office yesterday she has an appointment this Friday okay? I already talked to Taylor and she has our numbers if she or anyone one needs anything. I called Jess my secretary and everything's fine at the second restaurant. Don't worry about it, we've got this. I've got you babe"

Heaving a big sigh Normani let out a quiet but still there huff and settled back in her seat. Dinah's right, we have this under control, there's' no need to panic. Just breathe. Normani thought to herself humming under her breathe.

"Her room is all set so why don't we go home and get Little Lo settled and one of us can go out if there's anything needed." Said Normani in a much calmer tone.

Nodding her head, Dinah quietly settled in her seat and merged onto the highway back towards there house. Lauren had fallen asleep, from what the couple know is that Lauren doesn't sleep well, so rather than try and wake her up, as it was kind of early for a nap, Dinah unbuckled her from her car seat rather slowly and quietly handed her over to her wife before grabbing her laptop from the trunk.

Both Normani and herself have taken the week and next off from work to try and establish a patter for their new one. But she still had a business to run so rather than doing half days like she had wanted both Dinah and her wife compromised and decided on her working from home.

Heading into their house, Normani jogged up the stairs and into Laurens room where she lowered her into the crib and turned on the baby monitor do they'd be able to hear her when she wakes up.

"Alright so I put lauren down, we should let her rest for about an hour while you finish up what you need to do. I'm gonna do some laundry holler if you need me babe." Kissing her wife's face she turned in the direction of their laundry room to finish both hers and Camila's clothes.

God there's always so much laundry to do! They better be appreciating me.

Lauren had to of been asleep for no more than 15 minutes at most before she woke with a start. Blearily opening her green eyes she peeked up at the ceiling where there was an overhead light. Normani must of forgotten in her haste to not wake the baby. But little Lo was not appreciating it, not one bit.

The light was way to bright for her eyes, it felt like the light was suffocating her. Even when Lauren would shut her eyes she could still feel the intensity of the light.

Rolling over, Lauren tried to hide underneath the soft blanket covering her but instead hit her head off the bar. Gasping Lauren started to cry silently, afraid that if she was to cry any louder the women that took her in would hit her.
