"I don't know if we can do this." Dinah walked over to her youngest child Camila, and grabbed her half empty cereal bowl.

"Another child whose what, one years old or you said two? And didn't you say that she'd be a bit delayed with her circumstances. And that's not the reason you know that. But I mean we have Ally whose almost a teenager for crying out loud and then there's this rugrat" Dinah messes up Camila's hair hearing her sweet childlike giggles, " whose almost two full hands huh, baby." Camila nodded her head not really knowing what they were talking about as she was more focused on her guitar 101 book her mom got her for Birthday.

Normani sighed. She knew Her wife didn't take the phone call and didn't know all the details that she had listened too.

Normani knew she couldn't blame her but she couldn't help the small twinge of unadulterated anger growing with this redundant conversation.

I mean how hard is it to say yes? Normani though bitterly.

"I know that Dinah . But please listen to me when I say this- she needs us. And I don't know how old she is, all I know is that this little girl needs a home and we can provide it."

Normani grabbed her wife's hand pleading her "Please just try this for a few weeks. It's just fostering and if we're serious about this and I do mean we- then we can take the next step okay?"

Normani didn't believe in God, never had even when she was a kid and had to go to church, but she was praying to whatever was up there to get her wife to say yes.

She needed her to say yes.

Dinah looked back at her wife and she could see that this answer meant the world to her wife. Dinah could see the desperation in her wife's dark eyes. She couldn't figure out why her wife was so adamant about this but she promised herself to find out.

Rubbing her temples she nodded her head a fraction. Not thinking her wife heard her she opened her mouth to say it, when her wife threw herself into her arms squeezing her tightly. Damn for someone smaller than her she is strong. Dinah thought with a smile.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Exclaimed Normani.

Fuck what did I do? Dinah thought a little helplessly. But seeing that smile was all she needed to know that she made the right decision not just for her wife but herself as well.

This would be good for them right? It had to be.

Hey peeps how's it going? I've had this idea in my head for a little while but idk I haven't had the energy to try see how far I'd go with it. Anyways I thought I'd try it and see what y'all think about it. Idk how old I'm gonna have Lauren, I'm gonna keep their real birthdays so I might have her turning two. I don't know.

And I know I haven't updated my other story. I suck im well aware of it. But Idk what to write for it so ima take a break and try writing for this instead since I'm really excited to see what y'all think!

This is just a preview and I'm gonna publish it to see if y'all like it. But the real first chapter won't come until later. And idk when yet. But keep a watch out cause it'll be soon.

Lemme know Guys!!!
