Chapter 12: Mysterious Chocolates

Niall’s pov

“Hey, babe, wake up.” I said shaking Kayley a little in her sleep. “Psst hey wake up.” I tried more. She gave up ignoring me and then rolled over onto her back and looked up at me while I was hovering over her with a wide smile. “It’s a nice day out and I think we should go for a walk maybe to the park or something.” Kayley rubbed her eyes and yawned while covering her mouth. “But Niall I’m pretty sure it’s going to rain.” I pulled her up out of the bed making her sit up.

“No it won’t trust me.” I said.

Kayley’s Pov

I got up tiredly and went to the bathroom to get ready. As soon as I finished brushing my teeth I heard the raindrops against the window. “Ah come on!” Niall groaned while I chuckled silently to myself. “I told you so.” I teased him when I came out the bathroom. He just rolled his eyes playfully at me then sat on the bed. “Well, what do you want to do now?”                            

“Let’s just hang out today.” Niall nodded giving his approval. “Sounds good to me. All I wanted to do was spend time with you anyways.” 

He stood up and leaned down to kiss me. I took his hand and dragged him to the kitchen. “We should get some…lunch.” I paused while looking at the time and seeing that is was 12:45pm already. “What do you wanna eat, babe?” Niall shrugged.

“Anything is fine it’s whatever you want.” He answered me. I went to the phone and ordered Chinese take-out. “We should watch a movie.” Niall suggested.

While he looked for a movie, I went to check on the boys who were fast asleep. I then went back into my bedroom to find a big comfy blanket.

Niall was already stretched across the couch while the opening credits showed on the TV. I joined him on the couch and cuddled up with him behind me. We stayed like this until the food came and we both ate on the couch still watching the movie. When the movie was done and the food was, we both went back into the bedroom and lie down facing each other. We both shared kisses and lingering touches while just talking. 

Even though Niall and I were basically talking about nothing and switched topics way too much I appreciated the moment. I appreciated Niall because he made me the happiest girl in the world with just the little things.

Later on, I was in the kitchen looking through the cupboards when I found a box of chocolates and a note that said ‘just for you’. “Niall!” I shouted.

“Yeah, I’m coming” answered Niall.

“I found this box of chocolates that say just for you” I said.

“They aren’t mine” they looked at each other confused “Oh perhaps Danny put them in here? Because i think he likes you. Remember that time we went out to that party a few weeks before Joe and Henry were born and you were sat at the bar and me and him were dancing and he kept looking at you” he replied. “Oh yeah i think so omg i have an idea, right we have to pretend that we have broken up for some reason and then i tell him and then we will see what he says and does” I said with a proud smile on my face. “That is the best idea i think you have ever come up with, not that you don’t come up with good idea’s but you know what i mean” Niall said.

“Wait can we just enjoy the chocolates first and then do it later because i am really hungry” I asked.

“Yeah we might as well”.

“How about this one?" I said smiling as I broke the chocolate square in half, reached over, and put it in Niall’s mouth.
