Chapter 9: Who We Are

  **Allisia's P.O.V**

I softly knock on the office door soon after a few seconds of waiting I heard a deep voice telling me to enter for some reason I started to get nervous, after taking a deep breath I walked in the alpha looked up from his paperwork on his desk and smiled
"Hello um"

"Sia sir,"
I quickly answered, he gave a nod and motioned for me to sit at a chair oppisite of his desk
"Nice to meet you Sia I am alpha Lorez how can I help you today?"
His smile was contagious I couldn't help the wide grin that made it's way to my lips
"I wanted to ask you something I know it may seem odd but, why are there so many wolves around your home?"
He looked at me for a moment before throwing his head back and laughing

He finally regained himself and looked at me
"Oh you're serious?"
I looked at him
"Of course I'm serious!"
He stood and walked over to the window
"Tell me Sia what do you know about yourself?"
He asked looking at me no not looking he was studying me!
"I know that the voice in my head said she is my wolf and tomorrow on my birthday I will shift into something wonderful and that their are many others like myself, she said I'm like Leo and I have a remarkable gift but I do not know what it is."
I looked down at my hands and continued
"I was raised by two people who never understood me but I figured that was because I was not their biological daughter but I was faster than all the other children in my school, stronger than the boys and definitely stronger than the male teachers I was labeled a freak by everyone not only because of my speed and strength but because of my eyes. I hate not knowing what I am or where I belong I just know that I am different than my foster family."
I fiddled with the end of my shirt scared that the alpha would label me as a freak as well and decide to kill me but after some time he kneeled down in front of me and took my hands in his
"You are a werewolf you're stronger, faster, and smarter than humans you're just like everyone here, werewolves and the voice is your wolf she is part of you and when you shift then you will feel her more your senses will heighten you are special because the moon goddess chose you for a purpose she is our God and trust me when I say you have a purpose. These are things that we learn as young pups and I'm sorry that you never knew who you truly are but if you like I will help you as you go,"
I looked up at him tears streaming down my face so many emotion, so much I missed out on
"What will happen tomorrow?"
I sniffled trying to calm my tears Lorez handed me a tissue and sighed looking like he was trying to choose his words carefully
"Tomorrow you will shift but don't worry my mate and I will be there to help you through luckily it won't be until night so you'll be able to rest, it'll all be ok all werewolves go through it."
He says with a proud smile but I couldn't help ask
"What is your mate?"
A soft smile appeared on his face one I couldn't help admire as a fatherly look, the longing to have real parents pushed it's way through
"  Mate is what humans call a wife only it's so much more for us, you see the moon goddess takes a soul and splits it in half putting one side in a wolf and the second half in another. You will not know who has your other half until you shift, their scent will have you mesmerized and wanting more, when you touch beautiful Sparks ignite where the two people's skin come in contact showing that you're souls are reuniting. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world and it seems to get better with time and you can not leave one another because then the souls began to parish and eventually die causing you to die as well, you will feel what they feel from pain to pleasure,"
He had this goofy grin on his face as he stares up at the ceiling I'm sure thinking of her but I started to feel nervous what if mine does not want me? What if I'm not good enough? What if he thinks I smell wierd!
"I DINT WANT MY SCENT TO SMELL WEIRD!"
I jumped up screaming at no one causing the alpha to fall back on his arse laughing I turned so red I'm sure I looked like a cartoon character that is mad
"Your scent doesn't stink!"
He says holding his side laughing at that time Leo and his mother walked into the room looking concerned
"Um what is going on here?"
Leo looks from me to his father with an amused smirk while his mother is giggling at her mates laughter, after calming down alpha Lorez stood up and took his mate in his arms
"I was just explaining to Sia about how she is a werewolf and what mates were,"

"Really! What do you think Sia?"
His mate looks at me with a wide smile
"Honestly it feels right,"
I couldn't help but to smile at how much they all cared mabey getting kidnapped wasn't so bad in the end until the monster decided to speak
"Mates is just an excuse to be weak."
I looked at Leo unsure about what he meant
"Don't mind him Hun Leo is just mad because he never found his mate,"
Lorez says shaking his head
"It's a good thing to because I don't need nor want a mate I just need Molly to keep me happy!"
Leo smiles like he won a million bucks
"Who is Molly?"
I asked confused
"She is my fiance and hopefully we will wedd soon,"

"Oh well in that case congratulations Leo!"
I say with a sweet smile he mumbles a thanks then leaves
"Thank you for everything alpha Lorez and erm.."

"Heather my sweet,"

Lorez mate tells me seeing as how I was struggling
"Thank you Heather and Lorez I'm going to take a walk and hopefully process this information," and with that I walked out of the office.
