Chapter 13: The Meeting

  **Leo's P.O.V**

We have been searching the forest and neighboring packs for a week already and still no sign of Sia, Baeo hasn't slept which I could understand because him and Sia have been together for 18 years. Baeo and I have gotten close after being paired to search for Sia he filled me in on allot of things he likes and how he enjoyed being able to talk with people surprisingly we have so much in common I honestly place him on the top of my best friends list under Dill. We were sitting in the living room playing Persona 5 it being our break, Baeo pushed pause and seemed to be in a far off place he finally snapped back to reality and started playing, I sat calmly waiting for him to tell me what that was about but he never told me so I just blew it off eventually he would tell me. Mark, Johnny, and Robert came inside their shift was up and now it was time for Lu, Garry, and Roy 3 of our strongest warriors to take their shift in the forest to search for Sia, the guys joined us propping up their feet to relax

"So what's up?"

Dill asked as he walked in the living room seeing us chilling

"Just resting before our shift,"

"So why are we working our asses off for this girl?"

Johnny asked us looking annoyed before I could answer a loud growl sounded through the house and we all turned to Baeo shocked at his anger

"She is not some girl she is my best friend and our future queen! Without her our kingdom will fall and we all will parish!"

He was now standing his brown eyes now showing a fire red, I'm sure his wolf was ready to attack

"Baeo calm down man we can't lose ourselfs now think of Sia"

At the sound of her name he calmed himself

"You're right I'm sorry my anger will not help us find her,"

He sat back down trying to calm himself more. A little after eating supper my father walked up to us a troubled look etched on his face

"Be on your best behavior the King and Queen will be here in 30"

He turned quickly before we could drown him in questions, then it dawned on me and I quickly turned on Baeo

"You knew didn't you!"

He looked straight ahead not wanting to meet my eyes it was like a switch for him

"I was ordered not to tell anyone it is my duty to inform the king I am sorry"

He looked down and left the room, I felt like an ass he was only following orders and I'm sure it was harder for him since they were straight from the king. After some time my father summoned everyone outside to greet the King and his mate, we all stood straight staring at a black vehicle pulling up before us. A man dressed in all black got out of the driver's side he glanced at us then walked around the passenger back door and opened it the queen stepped out first followed by the king there was no mistaking that Sia looked exactly like them she had her father's purple eyes and her mother's long black curly hair the only difference was her father's hair was light brown with red highlights which showed where her red highlights came from they were breathtaking the power that spilled from them was strong causing a lot of pack members to whimper and place their heads down showing their submission, the royals looks around at the pack members giving small smiles before following my father inside.

  **Baeo's P.O.V**

I know everyone was upset with me for contacting the king and queen but I had to if Sia doesn't return and take the throne then the vampires will take over and demolish the werewolf race completely our lives were at stake and I figure it was time Sia met her parent she needed it. I followed behind Leo and Dill heading into the Alpha's office everyone sat down but I stayed by the door I could see how Dill was giving me glares and I felt upset with myself for what I done I have gotten so close to everyone the week we searched for Sia that it hurt me to upset them the way I did. Jakylen stood and moved towards me a smile placed upon her lips giving me a huge hug

"Barutheous darling look how you have grown! My goodness your mother would be so proud!"

She held me close pulling away to look me up and down

"Your father will be here soon he has been talking about you non stop!"

She giggled and placed a small kiss upon my cheek

"Come darling your embarrassing the boy,"

Nikolus stood laughing gently hugging his mate bringing her away from me I couldn't help the chuckle that left me

"She is right though you have grown wonderfully I look forward to you running along side my daughter when she takes over to rule"

He pulled me in for a quick hug before he looked around the room

"But Barutheous can you answer me a question?"

I stood straight making sure not to make eye contact with him or his mate

"Yes sir"

"I gave specific orders for you to stay in mellowbrook I had guard's posted there watching over Allisia as well until her 21st birthday now tell me why did you go against my orders and take her from there that's where she was safest?"

Without looking at him I could feel his anger, his power radiating through the room and it took every thing in me not to turn and run

"My apologies your highness but we did not leave by choice,"

Nikolus nodded his head and sat down, I felt like I was suffocating his anger overpowering me I only felt like this one time before and that was when Sia got so angry at her foster parents for ripping up her picture she made of me and hung it on the fridge she of course did not say a word she just turned and layed on her bed waiting for her anger to die down, I guess you could say the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

"Barutheous explain to me what happened or should I have alpha Lorez do it?"

He never looked at me nor did he look at anyone in the room I glanced at the faces around me everyone was tensed  I looked at Leo and he gave me a small nod and looked down we both knew I had to tell Nikolus the truth it was my duty as the future beta. I took a deep breath looking straight ahead ready for everything to unravel

"Alpha Lorez's son Leo and his friends kidnapped Allisia and I but before you get even more angry I just want you to know they treated very kind and never once harmed us,"

It was like a flash of light flew by me and before I knew it Jakylen had Leo by his throat her eyes were glowing yellow showing that her wolf was now in control

"You took my daughter from the saftey of her home and the protection of her guards against her will!!!"

Jakylen was screaming at Leo her whole body was shaking from anger, if anyone knew the royals they would know that the queen was the violent one she never hesitated to kill on site where the king was calm when he was angry and always thought things through trying to not shed so much blood. Nikolus walked over to his mate grabbing her from Leo and holding her close instantly she calmed in his arms snuggling closer to him, Nikolus sat down with his mate on his lap holding her close

"Now then please explain to me why your son kidnapped my daughter causing her to get kidnapped again in your care?"
