In the book, there is a mention of two songs. Originally they were there, but I decided to cut them out. But here they are seperately.
First song in the time travel scene:
Deep in the garden full of life
Was a simple man full of strife
There he met his one true love
But a demon she was, from up above
Days became weeks, time went on
The victim had became her pawn
The two of them unable to wed
For they are different, oh what a dread
So they made a bargain, offered by her
Give her his soul, my that caused a stir
Oh yes, oh yes, he agreed
For it was her love he need
Soon the preparations were made
Little did he know, he was betrayed
At the stroke of twelve, midnight it was
His soul was within that demon's claws
At that is the end of the sad, sad tale
Of Lord Bentley, so mighty yet so frail
Second song when the demon sings about Colton's life:
Deep in the mansion full of death
Was a man who's life was in threat
He was there for the challenge he took
But the fear of this place was in his look
There he wandered the halls
Not knowing the monsters that crawls
He found a painting, old as time
And wrote his name, what a crime
But alas, he was lost in this place
For a thing was after him in a chase
Just when all hope was jut about to flee
He had found himself some company
It was girl, so beautiful and pure
Her presence itself was only to allure
In a room, where the killing began
And there she continued her plan
He took a seat on Bentley's throne
There he went to a time, not his own
He witnessed the tragedy
My, what a strategy
Of the demon girl hidden in view
Keeping a secret, no one knew
But it's too late, she'd been found out
For he had already had the doubt
Now it is his choice if he could choose
To sell his soul, a bargain he can't refuse
But against his will, sealed with a kiss
His soul was stolen, it will be missed
He then awoke with everything all right
Not knowing what happened, even the fright
So he just got up and went to school
Forgeting his time limit, what a fool
He was treated all the same, like a freak
They beat his up knowing he was weak
But tired of this treatment, he traded his soul
For him to complete his long await goal
He shot with a gun, his anger is what drives
And in the end he ended hundreds of lives
But he couldn't live on for what he did
So he took his own life, his life he rid
The demon had won, knowing it would
Then reclaimed his soul, from where she stood
And that was the story of Jacob the great
Who was bounded by no other than... fate
