Chapter 5: Suspicion

Hello, welcome to another chapter. Sorry, I haven't written in a while I was trying to finish it but school has to screw me over and be awful to me. Anyways, enjoy the story.

Chapter 5

Izuku's point of view

I got woken up by a shake. I rub my eyes- to get the sleep out of them. I look who woke me up and it was Shouto. He looked calm. His grey and blue eyes looking into my emerald eyes.

"Yo, what's up?" I ask him.

"Well we don't have work today; it's Sunday," he said to me.

He starts to stand up straight. I nod my head and put my head back on my pillow. I'm still tired from last night. I bring my blanket close to my chin. It was cold, I guess Shouto put the A/C on or something. I still see him standing, like he was debating something with himself.

"Come on, get in," I tell him, "I know that look on your face." he nods his head and lays next to me.

I can see he was tired. It looks like he didn't sleep at all. I hope he didn't. I laid there while he put his arm around my waist to bring me closer to him. I put my arm around him too. We are now just hugging in my cold room.

"I'm tired from hanging out with my friends. Let's go to sleep." I tell him.

He nods his head.

"Yeah, I am tired too. I shouldn't have woke us up so early," he said as he chuckled at the end.

He did kind of wake us up early. It was about 4:00 am. It was still dark outside. You could hear a few cars moving around outside but not really. It was so calm. I started to feel sleepy. I'm so warm and comforted. I close my eyes and before I knew it, I was sleep.

Shouto's point of view

I was surprised to see that he fell asleep so fast, but it makes sense cuz it is early and he was out all night with his friends. The funny thing is that I don't see his friends around so it kind of makes me suspicious of who he is hanging out with. I usually see him at our job or at home. I have a feeling he is not telling me something.

I look around for his phone. I know we are supposed to not evade each others privacy, but I need to. I don't want him to get hurt while he's going one day.

I grab his phone off the nightstand and turn it on. We both knew our passwords just in case something happened to us. I put in his password on his iPhone 6. It was gold. In the background of his phone was a picture of him and his friends (Uraraka and Tsuyu). I went to his contacts and went down it. I saw the usual but there were some that threw me off, Fierce heart, Fifi de Lish, and Sunny King.

'I've never heard of them before are these the people he is hanging out with after work?' I ask myself.

I ponder my choices. I look away from the phone to look at Izuku. He is still sleeping. I sigh in relief. I go back to the phone and decide to investigate further.

I go to his messages. I look for the names that I was suspicious about. I went to Fierce heart first. She had red hearts around her name. I click on it and look at them. I go to the recent first. It was like a week ago.

21:15 (9:15)

❤️Fierce heart❤️: Girl u coming to work today

Me/Izuku: Girl yas I would never miss it

❤️Fierce heart❤️: U better hurry up we about to open

Me/Izuku: I'm almost there

❤️Fierce heart❤️: Good see ya then

Doesn't this person know that Izuku is a boy? Is there something I don't know about. I thought he only works at the cafe nowhere else.

I back out of the message and go to Fifi de Lish. It had flowers around its name. I open the messages for her. There were some that were a lot more recent than Fierce heart. Must be really good friends. There was some just a few hours ago.

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: Hey boo-boo are you okay u looked stressed a little bit with the customer

Me/Izuku: I'm fine don't worry about it

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: Hey but look on the bright side we did successful

Me/Izuku: Yeah we go a 100 dollars from him. That really helped our business

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: You forgot to take off your Make-up by the way

Me/Izuku: Yeah I know I was just tired

Me/Izuku: I wish I had a car

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: U know I have a car right I could always take you home

Me/Izuku: Rlly?

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: Of course Girl!

Me/Izuku: OMG Girl thanks so much!

🌸Fifi de Lish:🌸 How about I give u a ride next time we have work

Me/Izuku: OMG Girl Yas!

Me/Izuku: Okay Girl I have to go. Love ya goodnight

🌸Fifi de Lish🌸: Okay Girl love ya goodnight

That was the end of the message. What is Izuku hiding from me? We used to be so close and talk to each other about things. I went out of it and looked for Sunny King. I scrolled down and finally saw it. I clicked on it and went into the messages. This one was from a 2 weeks ago.

11:15 (11:15)

☀️Sunny King☀️: Yo Izuku guess what I got

Me/Izuku: What is it

☀️Sunny King☀️: U know that dog that I was going to get that I told u about

Me/Izuku: The golden retriever!

☀️Sunny King☀️: Yep

Me/Izuku: OMG yay! What's his/her name

☀️Sunny King☀️: First it's a he and second his name is Max

Me/Izuku: Aw so cute!

☀️Sunny King☀️: Thanks

Me//Izuku: GTG bye

Sunny King: Bye Izuku

That was it. I go through all the messages and take a screenshot of them. I send them to myself. After that, I deleted the message then went to the images and deleted the pictures from the photo album. I know I shouldn't be doing this but I need to protect him from any danger.

I turn off his phone and put it on his nightstand. I look down at him and he looks so peaceful. I kiss him on his head and hug him close to my body. I just want my brother to be happy. I don't want anybody hurting him like college year. He hasn't had the best life but I want to make him better and safe.

I start to feel sleepy and yawn. I close my eyes and go to sleep.
