Lily's POV
It was a dreary, cold and dark, the day my life changed. It was drizzling, and the river near our house was roaring and gushing down it's path. My sister and I were sitting near the window, reading. It was early afternoon thoug it did not feel like. After 20 minutes, it was clear again. Petunia and I were getting really irritared, all cooped up in the house. As we ran down the flight of stairs, a scream resounded through the house. As we reached the kitchen, we could just make out the tail feathers of an owls whipping through the window and out into the clear blue sky. There was a letter on the table and my mother stood in the corner, resting a hand on her heart. I picked up the letter. It was made if yellowed, thick parchment. On the front it said
