Liam's POV

I woke up with Niall's hand across my face. I pushed his hand off and sat up. Louis and Savannah were talking to each other near the campfire, that was now put out. It's still unreal that our lips almost met. I watched Louis and her laugh at something. She caught me staring at her. Wow, this was embarrassing. 

"Good morning!" She smiled.

Did she just forget what happened last night between us? If she didn't then she did not seem mad at me for trying to kiss her.

"Morning," I replied, rubbing my eyes.

Niall was still talking about his day in his sleep.

"Louis, all night long you were singing in your sleep," I sighed.

"I can't help it!" Louis whined. I rolled my eyes and shook the other lads awake.

"Yes, yesterday was a great day!" Niall mumbled in his sleep.

Niall then awoke with a start. Zayn just rolled over. Harry's eyes snapped open. He jumped up on his feet.

"What's wrong with you?" Louis asked.

"I thought I heard something.." He shook his head.

"Like what?" Savannah asked with a worried expression.

"I thought I heard a cat," He murmured, just enough for us to hear. When it comes to cats, Harry was the best.

"There are no cats in the wild, Harry," I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, but there are tigers and lions, Liam!" Savannah exclaimed.

"Harry, what kind of cat was-" I started to say.

Suddenly, a huge striped cat jumped out of some shrubs, a tiger. I held my breath and stood very still. He can't see you Liam, he can't see you if you stand still. Oh wait. That's with T-Rex's. He can definitely see you. Maybe if I don't move he won't see me as a threat. The tiger let out a loud roar, causing Zayn to wake up finally. Savannah and Louis slowly walked over to Harry, Niall, Zayn, and I. Niall clung tightly onto Ned. I watched the tiger pace back and forth.

"Here kitty kitty!" Harry called to the tiger.

"Harry what are you doing?" Savannah glared at him.

"What? I want to keep him!" He whispered.

"You're kidding me right?" I rolled my eyes.

"I think it wants Niall's pineapple," Zayn stared at the tiger.

"No not Ned!" Niall cried, hugging the pineapple even tighter.

"Yes! You're right!" Savannah cried.

I watched the tiger eye the pineapple as it paced back and forth. I didn't know tigers ate pineapples. This is going to be tricky to convince Niall to let go of his buddy, Ned.

"Hand over the pineapple," Zayn turned to Niall.

"No! What would a tiger do with a pineapple anyways?" Niall asked. 

"Niall, it's us or the pineapple!" Savannah exclaimed.

"I choose...Ned!" Niall smiled.

"Wrong answer!" Louis exclaimed, snatching the pineapple away from him and rolling it towards the tiger.

"No Ned!" I picked up Niall and threw him over my shoulder to keep him from grabbing the pineapple back.We all ran away from the tiger. Once we were away from the tiger, I set Niall down and he started to cry.

"Aw Nialler. Don't cry, please," I begged him, "Ned risked his life for us. He's a hero!" 

"Really?" Niall sniffled.

"Yeah!" I smiled. Then Niall smiled.

Savannah's POV

I walked away from Niall, who was still crying, and Liam and Zayn, who were both trying to calm Niall down. Harry was pouting because he couldn't keep the tiger and Louis was trying to make Harry feel better. I sat down on the ground, not far from the rest but far enough that I could barely hear them. I put my arms lightly behind me so I am comfortably propped up.

"Why did you leave us?" Liam asked, sitting next to me.

"I just needed some peace," I sighed.

The truth was I wanted to get away from Liam. I'm still in shock that he and I almost kissed and it wasn't like I was trying to kiss him, he was trying to kiss me. The night replayed in my head especially the stupid parrot interrupting us. 

"I'm sorry.." Liam mumbled. I turned to face him, probably with a confused look. "I'm sorry for making it awkward between us..." He sighed.

"Really, Liam, it's fine-" I begin to say

"No I really messed up," He talked over me.

"It's okay-" I begin again.

"No it's not actually. I really shouldn't have," He replied.

God, he is so stupid. I leant over and placed a kiss on his cheek. He smiled back at me.

Then our lips pressed together.

Hello my lovely people! I'm happy to update today! Yay! I told you Ned was important! He saved them! The song on the side kinda fits with the chapter I guess.

Don't judge me! Tigers can like pineapples.

On the side there is Liam. I want his beanie. If I ever meet him, I'm gonna convince him to give me his beanie. It's a panda. xD
