We hesitated. We have been preparing for this for two months. We thought we were ready, so at the party, we finally said it all and spilled the beans. "There is something we need to tell all of you and our parents need to pay extra attention to this. Me and Mia have been dating for two months now. And we wanted to keep it as a surprise to everybody. Neither of us are straight. Both of us are gay. I know this may shock our parents a bit, but this is who we are and who we want to be." We got off of the stage and to our surprise, everyone was clapping and cheering. And my mom even came up to us and said "I've kinda always known you were gay. I just waited for you to say it." At least she wasn't mad at us. And that was it. Me and Mia were officially out of the closet.
At my house after the party, my mom told us that she was so proud of us for being brave enough to do that. She even let us watch a movie, and didn't bother us all night. I think that's the kind of parent everyone wants. So, we watched our movie and fell asleep. I have to admit, I was proud of us too.
Hey guys! Sorry it's short! I'm on the bus and I don't need people looking at it. Lol I'll update after school!
