Milestones

The big day

I couldn't believe it. It was my wedding day and my graduation. Two exciting events wrapped into one day! Me and Mia were so excited that we didn't even sleep the night before! Although, the ceremony was at noon, so we had to check out of school, take showers, blow dry our hair, style our hair, get the shoes, do our makeup, gather the bridesmaids, make sure the bridesmaids are ready, put on the dresses, and put on the shoes! And we checked out at ten so we had literally two hours. But we pulled it off! I was waiting at the beach when the maid of honor, aka my cousin Zoey, was helping me practice my vows. I did text Mia saying that if she heard me talking that was just me practicing. Until finally, it was time for me to walk down the aisle. A lot of thoughts were racing through my mind at this point. My heart felt like it was try to break out of my chest. I couldn't believe the fact that it seemed like I was fourteen just yesterday and now I'm getting married. After I got up to my position, it was time for Mia to walk down the aisle.

The bridesmaids were already in their positions when Mia came walking. And let me tell you, she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The beach breeze was calm and felt great. When Mia got up to me, we lifted each other's veils from our faces.

It then came time to state the vows. It was my turn first. I said "Mia, these last four years have been the best. And so, I vow to never leave your side, I vow to take care of you whenever you need it, I vow to always give you a shoulder to cry on, I vow to always make you laugh when you're upset, I vow to always go on adventures with you, I vow to be the one that cleans the house, and last but not least, I vow to always love you each passing day. You've been the only one o could turn to since the first day of our freshman year and I thank you for that." Mia then stated hers and the cane that question thing I have zero clue what it's called. 

Time skip again———————————

The preacher then asked "Anna, do you take Mia to be your wife?" I said "I do."

The preacher then asked "Mia do you take Anna to be your wife?" She said "I do."

He then said "I now pronounce you wife and wife. May this marriage bring you joy and many adventures along the way. You may kiss." My heart basically stopped. I'm thinking in my head *Holy crap. I did it. I just got married. And I have to graduate too, and the graduation is today!* It was a lot to process, but I ignored it. After the wedding we went home to get ready for graduation.

At the graduation ceremony, before it started, me and my now wife were making sure that the reception was under control. Luckily they said that they would be ready for us when we got out of graduation. Then, the teachers arranged everyone. Luckily, me and my new wife were next to each other. We then started walking outside to our seats on the football field. It was then time to get our diplomas. After a while, my name was called. "Anna *no last name*." I got my diploma then my wife got her name called. "Mia *no last name*." Then the teachers went through everyone's names, and before we knew it, it was over. We tossed our caps in the air, and me and my new wife had changed back into our wedding dresses and headed over to the reception. When we got there, everything was beautiful. We were just in time for the first dance. We did that  and the rest of the dances, then Dancing Queen came on which is our favorite song. After a while it was time for the cake! All me and Mia did the whole time was state at the cake just waiting to eat it. We then cut the cake, ate it, and more dancing! After the dancing came the speeches, which were so long. After the speeches were finally done, even more dancing! After that it was time to toss the bouquet. Me and Mia tossed it at the same time and my cousin, Zoey caught it. After that the reception was basically over, so we went back to my house. We watched a movie then fell asleep. We did it. We finally got married.
