Maddie's POV
Drat. A ghost attacked. What do those pesky beings want this time?
Maddie thought deeply for awhile. Until her thoughts were interrupted by a high pitched SQUEEEEL.
"Jack, watch out!"
SQUEEEEE
"OI! Children these days, having no respect for elders" a grumpy old man muttered, walking away with a scowl
"Sorry old man! This is an emergency" Jack said

The Fenton duo made it's way into the park, surprised to see no one there.
"Excuse me, Sir, Ma'am. Please leave this venue. There is currently a ghost attacking in this area" a policeman said, pointing towards the opposite direction
"No way. We're here for a ghost, and we're not leaving until we have one" Maddie said, showing the police their weapons.
"Please Ma'am. It isn't safe here at all. Even if with all of your equipment and machines"
Suprisingly, it was Jack who convinced the officer. "Well, if we aren't here, whose going to fight the ghost? You guys have been taking the credit from Phantom, and since we haven't seen him patrolling, we can assume that he's already upset. Whose going to fight then?"
"I....er..... Alright. But don't say this to the tourists. It's the Mayor's order"
"Hmph"
The pair immediately ran towards the area, once the officer allowed them too.
"You just stood up for a ghost Jack. And for Phantom for gods sakes"
"Still, ghost or not, it isn't really that fair for someone else to take credit for the things you've done" Jack said, ready for a ghost fight
See, now everyone knows where Danny's heroic nature comes from.
Maddie frowned. Thinking of what Jack said, and relating it to what they wanted to do to Phantom
Her thoughts were once again interrupted. But this time, it wasnt a screech, more like a blue blast and a guitar being strummed

Okay okay, I know what y'all are thinking, 'But wasn't the ghost the Box Ghost? And didn't he like, already attack the trio?'
Well, who's to say two ghost couldn't attack at once?

"Aww..... I was hoping for real fun! Not some 'ghost hunters'" The familiar voice said
"Ember! You attacked the entire city! Hypnotising everyone with your stupid rock music!" Maddie yelled, angry for making Jazz rebellious
"Awww, glad some people still know me" Ember said
"Leave now! Unless you want a taste of what a Fenton can do!" Jack yelled, preparing the guns for fire
"Believe me, I do" Ember strummed her guitar, sound waves causing trees to be blown away.
"WHERE IS PHANTOM?!"
The Fenton duo and Ember turned to see who was shouting.
"Who?" A tourist asked
"Uhh.. nobody sir. That woman is just delirious" A police officer said
Ember had a mischievous look in her face. "Ahh, so that's why Phantom didn't appear. Honestly, I was getting disappointed"
"Ugh, leave now!" Maddie warned one last time, a bit dizzy from that shockwave, but okay enough to aim and shoot.
When Ember didn't move, only her smirk growing a bit wider, the Fentons shot fire.

Back at the Fenton's House
Team Phantom were currently seated on the sofas. Watching the news about the ghost attack.
Danny was watching with fascination. So that's what ghosts look like
Sam and Tucker was watching his reaction with disappoinment. Was there really nothing left of Phantom?
Despite that, the two were determined. There has to be something there, and they're gonna find it. No matter how deep in his mind they must go.

The Fenton Parents tiredly made their way to the living room where Danny, Sam, and Tucker were seated.
When the two were spotted, Danny immediately jumped. "Oh man, that was AMAZING! Are you guys okay though?"
Maddy was confused, to say the least. Danny was usually mopey after a ghost attack. Come to think of it, they never see Danny during a ghost attack. But before she could think of it any longer, the two felt arms hugging them both
"I'm so glad you two are okay" Danny mumbled against their shirts. The two couldn't help but melt at the scene and hugged Danny back

The three were interrupted with a loud cough. When they looked up, they saw Sam, Tucker and Jazz looking happy yet sad. What was that, Sappy? Had??
The author just realized that the chapter had 700+ words already so she decided to end the chapter

So I'm sorry for not uploading for like, 3 months. I'M SORRRRYYYY! Anyways, tomorrow is when school starts, so what better way to end summer vacation rather than update books on wattpad! Especially this one cuz I legit have no idea where this story is heading. Chao~!
