Episode 2, Season 2 - Learning the Truth

With Daniel in the sick bay, everyone, including Allura and Pidge, was gathered in the control room.

"Sooo." Vince said.

"Why don't you start at the beginning, when Daniel first caught the infection." Allura suggested to Vince.

"Ok. It started back when Daniel's conscious was in Voltron. We think that while the Lotor-Lider had him wrapped up in the haggarium web, the infection got into his conscious and he brought it back into his body. We also think that the Lotor-Lider bonded their minds together, this is why Daniel knew every move that that thing was going to throw at us before it did. He knew exactly what was going on and how to counter it." Vince paused for a moment before he kept going. "After the Lotor-Lider was gone, Daniel didn't know what all the other enemies were doing and that is why he struggled so much on the last mission. He doesn't really know what to do, just that one time he had some help." Vince finished.

"Why didn't you tell us the minute you figured all this out?" Keith asked after a moment of silence.

"Daniel told us, well practically begged us not to. He was worried that you would kick him off the force. He was also convinced that defeating the Lotor-Lider would get rid of the infection." Vince told everyone.

Everyone sat in deep thought for a moment.

"Wait, who's us? Who else knew?" Keith asked kinda curiously but mainly angrily

Larmina looked down.

"Well, I think we know the answer to that question." Lance said with smirk on his face.

"I understand why you did it, but you still should of told us." Allura said and put a hand on Larmina's shoulder. Larmina looked up and gave Allura a weak smile.

"So, now what?" Vince questions. The group was silent for a moment.

"Once Daniel is awake, alert, and ready, we can look at treatment options. Pidge, what do you have in mind?" Allura asked.

"Well, I'll have to do some research, and get blood samples from Daniel, but as his condition is mild, he should make a full recovery." Pidge said. Just then they heard a loud crash from the med bay.

"What was that?" Larmina said uncertainty.

"I don't know, but we're going to find out." Keith said as the others got up and ran out of the room. When they got to the med bay, they found that Daniel's bed was empty.

:Uh ohh.: Vince thought to himself.
